I was never contacted after filing a complaint. I've been a long-time customer of Aarons in Bridgeport, WV, and throughout my life, they always offered a "6 months same-as-cash" policy for purchases over a certain amount. It wasn’t part of any special promotion; it was just their standard practice. This is my first time dealing with the Steubenville, OH location, and it’s likely my last. It seems like their goal is for customers to struggle to pay off their balances within four months, as that increases their profit. To me, this suggests that this particular Aarons might be run as a franchise. They appear dissatisfied with the profit they already make off the "same-as-cash" price and seem focused on squeezing even more by tripling the cost of items. They do make money from same as cash. Its not a lot, but they do. That said, I do appreciate the convenience of delivery and setup, as well as the option to purchase items without needing to have a large amount of cash upfront.

I had the opportunity and need to purchase a tv, a fridge and a washer dryer set from here. Their delivery times are about 2 weeks, and I've already been charged for the washer and dryer, and i still haven't even received it. Just says on way to store. God knows if it'll be delivered anytime soon. I'm quite upset that I'm paying on something i can't even use. Let alone haven't even seen yet. I'm not sure i can recommend it. Once i pay these off, I will not use this place again. I'll tell everyone I know and followers, go someplace else. I rented a truck to pick up my fridge and tv since it was 2 weeks out for delivery.

If your ever in a situation where your in the middle of a paycheck and just can’t afford to go buy a washer / dryer -/refrigerator. You know them last minute things that just break. They always have awesome deals and you pay it off slowly so you’re not going completely broke all at one time- I give them 100 stars thank you Aaron’s

I have had nothing but great experiences here. The GM Tim will do everything he can to work with you. The same goes for the staff Sara, Carlos and they many more great staff members. I got laid off and Aaron's club made my payments, and even after they stopped they still worked with me to keep my things. 4+ years and I never had a bad issue. Even when something broke, they would quickly replace or fix. If you have to choose a rent to own, please choose Aaron's you won't be disappointed. A+++

I like my mattress and the staff in store were very friendly. The staff that delivered my purchase were very nice. However, a few times my payday doesn't come when the payment is due, and I pay my payment late, so the Aarons staff call me several times a day, and I work night shift, so I am asleep much of the day. One associate called and left a message, and he spoke in a very gruff tone, "you need to be in the store and make your payment by noon tomorrow!" Then he hung up. It sounded like he wanted to come to my home and break my knee caps...so I am not impressed with them constantly "reminding" me of a late payment. Especially when I do pay every month and have no plans of stuffing them.
