Didn't want to give a 1 star, we went to rent a ps5 with a ad that said 19.99 a week and after we paid they said it would be more a month. I recommend going to eagle rental when they tell you a price it stays that price. The store itself (rent a center) in Painesville was dirty and I just wish we didn't go there

So bought a chair last year and paid it off. After that they kept taking money from my bank account for months. When I finally found out they acted like it was no big deal. The money I last had was gas and food. They took it and now they said it will be returned in my account in 2 to 3 days. I HAVE NO GAS AND FOOD AND NOW I CAN'T EVEN GO TO WORK!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!

Review may change depending on outcome. I was going to rent to own a couch with them. I had an agreement and had put down a deposit on a couch. Today when I was about to make my payment, the agreement is completely gone. Person I spoke with on the phone had no clue about what I was talking about. Told me the store manager would call me on Monday. Have yet to receive a call.

Paid off my mattress about three weeks ago completely, and got a random 6$ charge from rent a center today, called to see what it was about since I paid off the mattress. This how the call went: me - “hi I paid off my mattress a while ago and I got a charge for rent a center on my account today” Guy on the phone - “okay?” Me “so I’m wondering what it’s for?” Guy on the phone - “what’s the name” (Said my name) Guy on the phone - “okay you’re good” (hangs up) Very unprofessional and the money was still taken out of my account. Won’t be a returning customer, very unprofessional

To Whom It may concern, I scheduled for a item to be picked up from the Painesville Ohio store specifically told them by text messages do not to come after 3pm well what did they do they showed up at 530 pm which is unprofessional beating on my exterior apartment door to the point that it made the downstairs neighbors very nervous due to they have children. The aggression behind the knocking is very uncalled for and unprofessional and unnecessary Then when someone did acknowledge that you where here for me your staff stated to one of my wife's friends your "lucky we didn't go around back and knock on them doors too " like really over a laptop. Your very lucky I wasn't home cause I would of told u to leave and come back you wouldn't have gotten the laptop at all for disrespecting not only me and our mutual agreement with the schedule pick up time it's not my fault you were running behind maybe u guys need better management and organization skills and get your priorities together and learn to operate a professional relationship with ur customers instead of being disrespectful and childish i really hope this gets taken care of so no one else has to experience this
