Dont even deserve this just moved to herkimer ny and we are paid by weekly not weekly we as right now have no money until august 1 because both me and my wife had to a background check to start are jobs cant wait till we get paid on first we have made 3 payments on this air conditioner that was not working very good to begin with we deserve a refund

Family just tried to buy two gaming desktops that are on black Friday sale from the Herkimer location. They signed the contracts and paid were told to come back later to pick up. Then get a call from the manager saying they now cannot buy two of them only one. When asked what the reason was the manager informed them that both of the desktops cannot go to the same address due to the popularity of the item. This was again after money was paid and the contracts were signed. I have spent thousands of dollars with this store, but my family will never go back. HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU GO ELSEWHERE!!!

If you don't like being harassed 10 days after your first late payment in almost a year, this IS NOT the place for you. If you don't like getting 4 phone calls a day, EVERY SINGLE DAY then this isn't the place for you. If you enjoy hearing from family and friends about this company calling asking for help with a payment on your behalf, then this company IS for you. If you'd like to pay 3× the value of the products you're buying, this IS the place for you! If you enjoy being humiliated by neighbors and family during a pandemic affecting the entire world, definitely go check out this place! P.s If one of your favorite extracurricular activities is watching bullys try to get a washer full of water out of an apartment and down a hill while spilling it all over themselves, THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE FOR YOU 🤣🤣.

I rented from them in 2015, a PS3 and because I missed a few payments now mind you when ever I knew I was gonna be late on payments I called the manger which was Bob at the time and he was very understanding, some how in the middle of that and my final payment of paying it off it got marked as stolen property (which it wasn't) I have all the proof I need, now Rent a center is being discriminating as I rented stuff after paying off the PS3 and now I tried to rent a stove even put a 15 dollar deposit on it and they call up and say they can't rent to us after taking my money and not returning it! The "new manger" is the one discriminating us because we never once stole any property from anyone! So with that being said it is not recommended that any one rent from this place due to the fact that if you put a deposit down they will not give it back to you even though they say they will!

We’ve been using RAC for about four years now and never had a problem! When my husband was laid off, they worked with us on our payments. Our living room set we were still paying for started to rip and they helped us by replacing it with no issues. Sure their prices are more but when you’re on a fixed budget, this helps.

Dealing with these people seems like a good idea at first until you realize they will call you every single week for a payment for used crap that they sold you. I bought a washer and dryer here and ended up paying four times the price it would have been new one. We started referring to them as Relentless - center! Seriously calculate it out how much it will cost you to own something from this place before you sign anything. Don't expect the items to be new either
