Honestly the store itself has helped us. But Aaron’s itself is trash. We called when my husband got hurt at work and “all we need is a paper signed from your doctor because you pay for the membership so otll protect you” continues to dent every paper we send with “issues” claiming they “can’t read it” and we made sure to even get to the point of close pictures of every part of the document including the whole document this last time. Now they have an actual paper they send us to get filled out and still can’t take it?? Excuse me what? And “need to know the exact date he’ll be back to work”.EXCUSE ME WHAT? We don’t even know that!!! Head injuries are a case by case basis! Not like he planned to be hurt at work. Store 10/10. Aaron’s themself. Not worth it.
Parked behind the building which is connected to Empire Sports. We are going to Empire Sports so I parked there. I came out to the Aaron truck intentionally blocking me in and a nasty note on my window about not parking behind the building. There are no signs posted anywhere so how was I to know! Absolutely horrible to park me in like that. I will never frequent their nasty business and suggest you to do the same.
I’d stop telling people there is a 3 day grace period. My account came due Sunday, come Monday morning I had four missed calls and two voicemails. Thank god for the ability to block phone numbers! But not good business if you want people to actually answer. Pro tip to anyone new at this, block their number from the start and pay online when you make payments. Calling an hour and a half before the store even opens, calling 4+ times a day, with one day since due? Also they charge my account after I have paid my balance, all the time, almost monthly. Really are just making rules as they go along and not one of them has had any effective training in customer service.
Maria and Devante have charged me 2 payments in one month without my consent. Changed my payment dates with my consent. Called me names, screamed at me, threatened me, talked over me and interrupted me. Refused to give me the district manger number telling me I had to call corporate to get the number. I have been a customer for about 20 years and this is how they treat disabled people. I never had problems till Maria took over. DO NOT SHOP THERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!
This is one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with! We have had issues with them from day 1. I can't even write them all out. The final straw was listening to them yell and argue with my husband on the phone. When my husband told them to come get the items after they withdrew an unauthorized amount out of our bank, they said we could place the items outside?! This is the 2nd time they have messed up our bank account, the past time was a double charge. They've brought wrong equipment, then damaged equipment and conveniently forget to call to schedule deliveries for hopefully one that doesn't ruin our clothes, etc so they can collect more $$$ while you wait. Their excuses are they aren't in the area, etc.... Saw a truck here the other day though. Absolutely will pay more with rent a center. Their customer service is way better! First person we dealt with here was clueless and most everyone else either rude or downright nasty.
