My name is Tiffani McDowell… The people here are very kind, but I feel like every rent a center I go to lies to me… Yesterday they brought me a Skytech gaming laptop. They claimed it was never used by anyone but had only been on display at their store… I called Skytech today to tell them about all of the issues I’ve slowly been noticing about this laptop and they confirmed the laptop was manufactured over a year ago… The laptop had crumbs or rocks underneath… The fan constantly runs. And the volume is extremely low… I also specified that I wanted a keyboard that changes colors and this one doesn’t… I don’t want to be a problem. But I’m just not happy with any of the laptops I’ve been given… So I think Monday I’m gonna give this laptop back and just find someone who is selling an Asus Tuf Gaming Laptop… It’s the brand I had a few years ago that I really loved… It had great volume, a changing keyboard, no fan running 24-7…. This store doesn’t have any Asus brands in stock. So I’ll have to look elsewhere… Just sad I wasted a lot of money on two laptops I don’t like… I already factory reset the Skytech Laptop last night… It’s just not worth the hassle anymore. I refuse to pay $3000 for an electronic that was not brand new and already seems to have issues…

So far, my experience has been silly. Right off the bat, I had to question the contract. Then I received an email stating I owed money for an account that I had never seen before. Got told that was a billing error and to ignore... But why did it have my name on it. Honestly, if it hadn't been for the deal that weekend and my husband needing a laptop, I would not have come here.

This rent a center has a good staff. They all make me want to back again and again. Never had a bad experience renting something from them. Not a lot of people know about this place because it is hidden gem.

When my order was delivered, the two men who came were fabulous. Courteous and didn’t mind my underfoot kiddos, and did a great job. All correspondence has been wonderful, to the point, and I love the text reminders if my autopay doesn’t go through. Thank you!
