Rent-A-Center

I got a TV on a plan and was originally told if i paid$45 extra on 1 of the months i would make the same as cash date, i called and confirmed this 3 times with different workers and when i went in today to pay that they say "oh you would have had to do that on almost every bill" and had to pay $118 on my last two payments to make it over double what i usually do! The guy behind the counter struggled so much with telling me the right number i was legit confused on how much i owed! I would have been fine paying extra a month to get there but don't blind side me on my last 2 bills so unprofessional

Not recommended. The manager of the store either was clueless about what's in the rental contracts or pretends to be. I needed to rent some furniture for a relative's short-term stay at an old folks home. I read the contract, and noticed the deceptive small print on pages 4 and 5 of the contract that they're also trying to get you on a prescription discount plan, an eyeglasses discount plan, and a pet expenses discount plan. These are listed as optional in the contract, and I was very clear I wanted to opt out when signing the contract. The manager failed to opt me out of the optional services I didn't want. Now every drugstore in the state gives me the crappy Rent-A-Center Benefits Plus prices at the pharmacy desk, and I have to insist that the pharmacy remove the codes from their system. When confronting the manager he just said that his corporate bosses force him to weasel his way into the lives of his customers. I came here to rent furniture, not to change my prescription benefits. But the RAC manager did, even when I was clearly opting out as the contract stated I could. Terribly deceptive. Never again.

I have used Rent a center before and I have never had such a terrible experience dealing with the store manager as I have at this location. I realize I have been late woth payments and what not but when I am trying to pay part of my bill and agree to pay the rest a few days later work woth people! You want to be rude and ignorant do expect it back in return. Stay clear of old town location. Absolutely horrible customer service! And stop the threats of taking your merchandise back good luck getting in my house!

I am an extremely happy customer long story short I just moved into an upstairs apartment and unfortunately, the couch I had originally had was too big to fit through the door. So there I was looking for another couch. I walk through the doors of Rent-A-Center and the first person I spoke with was Chelsea she said don't worry we can help you and pointed out a beautiful set of couches on the website that would be able to fit through the doors of my home, she was a great conversationalist and explained to me the process, she made everything as painless as possible. CJ and George came to deliver the couch. They went up my stairs many times piece by piece to make sure I could have the couches of my dreams. They even put it together for me and put it in the area of my choice. I have a senior dog who can get a bit of anxiety and they treated him in such a lovely manner. They are two very hard-working men and they did it all for me with a smile on their face. I appreciate this crew so very much the customer service is second to none. I would highly suggest this store. I know that I will keep coming to this Rent-A-Center location for my needs because I was treated so well and I truly appreciate the staff for all thier hard work.
