Been waiting on Waylon to call for 3 days now this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with rent a center. They do nothing but lie to your face! They also don't like to up hold web deals. They just want to get you caught up in payment and come take the product! They say I have 12 months same as cash on $735 and my bi weekly payment are $107.50 so it will be paid off in 3 months where is the 12 month same as cash? I don't even get 6 months same as cash which is store policy! I have never had this problem in FL! If I was you I would just go to Arron's and avoid rent a center all together if I could do 0 stars I definitely would!
This place needs a 0. No customer service skills, lies for no reason, and a big inconvenience. I am considering civil court to receive my reimbursement for my money spent and time wasted.
If I could I'd give this place 0 stars. My auto pay is suppose to be taken on the 15th . I called on the 11th to tell them I will be late and the LADY said that it was ok. It's now the 18th and they are showing up at my door and calling me non stop, talk about harassment! They are so unprofessional and need new managmet and someone who knows what they are doing. I was told that there wasn't a lady working on the 11th. So apparently I spoke with a ghost? This rent a center is an embarsement to the company itself. Yall can come get yall stuff because it's definitely not worth the headache and dealing with unprofessional people!!!!
Jaylyn the manager is always there to help me find what I need. She also has great recommendations if the item you need isn't available. She makes me feel like more than a customer!
10/9/2024 They finally credited my account for the 12!weeks they said they would for the repair I did myself. 8/29/4024 As of today there is still no discount applied to my account. The general manager for the district said they would remove 12 payments from the account on the bedroom furniture. Still waiting on them to do what they said they would. I am still making payments and still ahead of the payment schedule so that I do not have to deal with the poor management that cannot even do what the company agreed on. The district manager called and we discussed a resolution to my issue. He said the manager would make the changes to my account. My payment is due in two days and the manager has yet to make the changes on my account. Just an update to the original problem I was having. The issue is obviously the store manager and no one else. This is why I have yet to agree to their response with the BBB. Of course all this does is let everyone see how this company does not follow through with what they say. The store manager is in front of the computer most of the day and could very easily fix the issue. As of 8/1/2024 I received a response from the BBB that this store thinks the issue is resolved. The district manager only contacted me once. I pay the weekly rental and they refused to replace or repair the damaged products and referred me back to the manager that was rude about payment on the due date. She insists that I must sign up for automatic payments, which is not in the contract anywhere. I replied to the BBB and really hope that my comment stays with this company for a long time. They do not honor their own contracts and threaten you with arrests even though this is a civil matter. They harass customers on their due date saying there is no grace period but outlined in their contracts they have a late fee schedule. No repair, no replacement. Bad company that needs moderation from corporate . Update 7/23/2024 The district manager called and said he would discount the furniture due to me repairing the bed myself. Then said he could not order new rails and give me a discount (I am sure that this company that makes millions of dollars is going to discount a portion of a payment.) This is an injustice, poor customer service vice and he even tried to force me to deal with the manager that started the problem by telling me that when I go into the store that the manager would give me a discount. I decided to go ahead and report the business to the BBB so that everyone will know that they do not honor their own contracts. No resolution for me and they continue to scam everyone for thousands of dollars. Update as of 7/20/24: I called the number listed and asked to speak with the district manager. They said 24-48 hours a return call would be made. The next day I got a call from the store. I am sure it is the manager wanting to tell me to stop calling customer service. I fixed the bed myself and this store is in violation of the terms of the contract. I am paid ahead on payments now so I imagine I will not hear from this company at all. The only reason I am even keeping the furniture is because I have paid so much in already and actually like what I have. Knowing what I know now and this week has taught me that I better stay ahead on my payments or pay it off soon so I do not get retaliated against. Update: Manager called and said a new piece for my bed could be ordered and it would take 4 to 6 weeks to come in. A bed that I sleep in every night, 4 to 6 weeks and she didn’t even know about the loaner until it is fixed thing. Not a good service for what we pay for. Very rude and does not honor the repair while under contract guarantee. They harass you on the due date of your payment and are not understanding when you have an emergency. I have paid for my stuff for over a year, yes I know there are other options but this was the best one for me when I moved to my location. When I started my agreement the manager was nice.
