The staff there is awesome! They are always friendly, down to earth. I love the selection of furniture they offer! Delivery is always fast, and the drivers are friendly, set up is quick
would give zero stars if i could. i changed my bank account because of so many unnecessary and unknown purchases. ben called me first thing this morning for my payment it was due yesterday. i went to pay it online but their website is down so he made his truck men come and take my couch cushions. very unprofessional. its not my fault his website was down? then they purposely didn’t give me my couch pillows to call today to be like “oh i forgot it” they want me to drive all the way to the store which im out of town and in chicago or give them my card info over the phone but why would i give my card information if my old card i had with them had gotten hacked? why would anyone in they right mind give they new card information over the phone. fix your website!!
So I’ve been having issues with my dryer for about a month.I do pay insurance.I reached out to store about dryer they said I have to schedule appointment with insurance diamond.I did they canceled twice.So I spoke with Jeremy like what’s going on here.He said he would reach out to them and contact me for appointment he put times I’m available I’d be at home.He never did call me back.i needed up calling store he wasn’t there.Finally diamond reached out the morning of and said they had to cancel bcuz tech wouldn’t be on route.I already took the day off of work bcuz I planned on them coming.After that I called Ben said he would reach out to his manager.I was so upset missing work missing money.So then I got fed up and called store Ben answered I said I need u guys to come pick up appliances im not wasting anymore time with this.As the guys come out Friday to pick up appliances they drive over my basket ball hoop and leave it in middle of road.i called the store Tuesday asked for manager he’s not here they say.I tell them what happened they said send pictures to the store email.i did and of course no one has reached out bcuz they don’t care at all.I work hard to get things as I’m sure everyone else does.The guys had more than enough room to pull truck up and get the appliances.i can say i am really pissed off.I will be contacting corporate and I won’t give up until this is resolved.I ended up having to dry my clothes 3-4 times each load bcuz it said drying but clothes wasn’t moving.Wasting my nipsco and gas like it’s ridiculous. You All know my number I’m not going out my way to contact u guys after all I have been through with that store and the bs.
Edit : I truly had to update. Ben is great. Aaron is cool and the team literally went out of their way to make sure I had what I asked for and they went above and beyond. They are understanding and absolutely willing to help. I would give 10 stars if I could. Doug is wonderful. Helped with every question I had and made sure I was satisfied with my order. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Doug went above and beyond to accommodate me. I wasn't the easiest customer but he always professional, kind and respectful to me. Aaron was also very helpful any time I had a problem he was at my door to fix it immediately! Thank you guy's very much for all you did to keep me happy! I truly appreciate it and I highly recommend Portage Rent A Center.
