Phil, matt, amd Austin have the worst customer service. They can't seem to communicate and have no clue what's going on. Dealing with this office was a headache and waste of time. Never again
I've been receiving calls from these individuals that have nothing to do with me, I live in California and never been in Indiana. No one answers when I call back, maybe if they see this review, they stop because I will press charges for harrassment if they dont stop the calls.
If I could give less than a star I would. Being a prior Aaron’s customer, and having worked in the rent-to-own industry for 6 years. I didn’t expect to have such a bad time. But after putting in my application, being approved, and being told I could pick up my item, I drove to the store only to be told that I can’t. Now where I understand that they may have policies to follow, It’s their job to teach their employees what those policies are. As a customer, being told two different things and being made to feel like somehow after having paid all my payments, and being in good standing that I still could not leave with the item struck me in a bad spot. Not to mention the item was well over the cost of any other rent-to-own businesses in the area. If you’re able. Just go to rent-a-center. Better people, better products, rent-a-center.
Aaron’s called to set up delivery earlier in the week, we were told between 3-6 Saturday (today). We rearranged our entire day to make sure we were home, and Aaron’s no call - no showed. This is after waiting two weeks after our original order date because the dryer that showed in stock online was in fact NOT in stock. I understand things come up, but it takes two seconds to make a phone call to a customer who is expecting a delivery. We tried to call right at 6 and the phone greeting was they were closed. Monday 5/12 Update: Aaron’s called and told my husband he was wrong, we were scheduled for today 3-7p, not Saturday 3-6p. I was present when they initially called to schedule us for Saturday 3-6p as we needed to make sure we’d be able to be home. We’ll see if they show up today.. They showed up and the dryer was installed. We had to purchase an extended outlet on our own but oh well. The delivery kid was super nice and friendly. As long as they can dispatch and communicate correctly I feel like it would’ve gone well overall, I just didn’t appreciate losing family time on the weekend to wait for something that never came that day.
I have encountered some issues with the pickup of my couches. Despite informing the movers of my new address on multiple occasions, the first scheduled pickup resulted in no-show, and the second attempt mistakenly directed the movers to my old address. While I appreciate that the movers are professional and courteous, the process has required excessive follow-ups, causing frustration. Additionally, I had purchased a protection warranty for my couches. However, when a corner of the ottoman sunk in, the response was insufficient. They only adjusted the cushion and stated that no further action could be taken, despite the ottoman sinking again when I placed a water bottle on it. This is disappointing given that I am consistently paying a $12 monthly fee for the warranty. The quality of the ottoman is subpar for the price, and while I normally refrain from leaving reviews, my ongoing frustrations have prompted me to share my experience, especially since another payment for the couches has just been deducted. I have requested their removal two to three times now and hope to resolve this matter soon.
