I had took the day off. They sent me a confirmation and set a delivery date confirmed. It was past the time of the delivery. I had called them to find out they are not delivering. DO NOT GET NOTHING FROM THEM!!!
I want to start this by saying that Ana and Jazmin are absolutely amazing! Also Jesus, he delivered most of my purchases very knowledgeable and very professional! I have been a customer of theirs for some time now and I appreciate all they do. Their store has the best customer service literally 10/10. For all my future purchases it will definitely be at this location. I don't understand where the bad reviews come from, you set up a delivery for the items you wish to pay for and they are delivered within the next couple days. If you can not pay your bills on time then maybe the service they provide just isn't for you. Also, complaining about delivery times is childish, if you received a call from them and you are expecting a delivery you should probably answer the call or call back at your earliest convivence. I have never read so many reviews by weird adults. I hope this specific location continues to succeed in this industry because they have worked so hard for it. Thank you guys for all you do!
This “business” is completely unprofessional. I was initially scheduled for a delivery for my son’s 7pc bedroom set on 12/11 between 4-5pm.. well 5:45pm came around and I still didn’t receive any update on my delivery. I called the store and was told they rescheduled my delivery for 12/12 from 10am-12pm. I had to cancel a work meeting on 12/11 because I was under the impression I was getting this delivered. They failed to notify me and I don’t find it right that as a consumer, I had to be the person to call to find out of my reschedule delivery. That was the first issue I had with this establishment. Now today, 12/12, I called to confirm my delivery and let Jesus know that I did not need the furniture to be set up as my house is currently under renovation and completely torn apart due to repairs. He initially told me that was no problem and we got off the phone. 30 minutes pass by and he calls me again and says they weren’t able to verify my references or my address (even though I sent in all my valid documents prior to applying for RentACenter) and mentioned I would not be able to get my furniture delivered until all my references called him. He also asked me to email him a copy of my current lease agreement and paystub in which I did immediately. My current landlord is not from America, his first language is Bengali and he accidentally made a writing error on my lease that makes it appear as if my lease was expired - as per my Landlord, he meant to write my lease termination date is June 2024 instead of June 2023. I explained this to Jesus and let him know the circumstances and told him I was in communication with my landlord to get an updated copy of my lease with correct dates. I mentioned to Jesus that I’d be willing to send in any other bills with my current address (although that was done prior to applying, AGAIN) but he said he would need my lease. I had to wait until my landlord got home from work in order to send in the lease. Two out of four references I listed called Jesus to verify they knew me (the other two stated they were busy at work and didn’t have time to talk on the phone). I called the store back to get my delivery rescheduled AGAIN and was told by Jesus that ALL my references needed to call in order to get my delivery which I found ridiculous. What I’m not understanding is - 1. Why weren’t my references “verified” BEFORE my scheduled delivery date? 2. When I told Jesus I didn’t want my furniture set up, why all of a sudden did the store get on top of verifying all my information? They completely wasted my time BOTH days and it just goes to show how poorly this store is ran. BECAUSE while I was on the phone with Jesus being told “your furniture won’t be delivered until everything is verified” the delivery drivers showed up with all my furniture and delivered everything! That goes to show the lack of communication this store has as well. I’m glad I got my items delivered, the delivery drivers were great! But I am completely dissatisfied with the service I received and the back and forth BS I had to deal with from Jesus. I am waiting on my call to be returned from their District Manager because they did nothing but waste my time initially, make me feel pressured and make it seem like I was trying to be phony with them. The “team” here is a joke.
Let's just say, I'm positive a response from upper personnel is going to contradict anything that I say, do be extremely cautious when deciding to do business with this company as their best interest is NOT for the customer AT ALL. The employee's and management are extremely rude. They will call you several times a week, sales calls, reminding you about payments that YOU ALREADY GAVE THEM AUTHORIZATION to take. They use countless excuses about how they don't keep credit card info on file, but yet they take your payment weekly from that exact same credit card. If you have any emergency situation, their response will be "It's a part of life" they have zero sympathy for anything that happens in your life, etc. My advice to you, is stay CLEAR AWAY from this place. Borrow the money from a friend or family member. Don't do business with these crooks. They don't care about you at all. The suicide rate in this country is at a record high, it's sad to say, because of crooked people and companies like these. They take advantage of poor people, steal from poor people. The employee's can care less if you go bankrupt, etc. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against them. My only wish is that they are delivered with a demand to cease operations from robbing poor, innocent people. As, I stated earlier, someone from the corporate office will probably respond to this review with lies and deceit, don't believe what they write because they look out for their best interest. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Unfortunately, there wasn't an option for zero stars, it made me give 1. I would rather give ZERO. For the record, they will be sweet as candy at the beginning, just to get your business, then after they approve you is when the HORRIBLE customer service will begin. I have text messages copies and screen shots of ALL communication. Just an FYI. STAY FAR AWAY! DON'T GO THERE!
From start to finish the customer service was excellent!! The whole process was seamless! It was nice to deal with people who cared, not just about their job, but they genuinely seem to care about people and their needs!! Laid back, down to earth, and extremely helpful! And I didn’t have to wait months for exactly what I wanted!!
