I attempted to complete an Amazon return at this location. I arrived at 5:50 PM, but the doors were locked. I stood outside until 5:53 when Eddie came to unlock door to ask how he could help me. I asked if I could do a quick Amazon return and was told by Eddie that the store was closed. I mentioned that the posted closing time is 6:00 PM and that it was not yet 6:00. He then stated that the store would reopen at 10:00 AM on Monday and he would not.

Do NOT use this place for Amazon returns!!! I dropped and item off in the beginning of December and they would not give me a receipt and Amazon stated they never received my item and now I’m out my money I was supposed to be refunded as Amazon will not refund me anymore because I have no receipt of drop off only a picture they let me take of me dropping it off. When I called rent a center to see what’s going on with my return I was only told they are thrown in a box and picked up. Go to ups where you can get a receipt this place is garbage.

My recent experience with the Rent-A-Center location in Franklin Park, Illinois, was extremely troubling and fell far below acceptable standards of customer service and management. I visited the store with my pregnant wife to purchase an 85-inch television and was given clear assurances by the sales manager regarding payment terms, including a minimal initial charge and the flexibility to adjust my payment date to align with my bi-weekly income. However, I later received a call from an employee identified as Eddie, who contradicted these terms, demanded an additional payment prior to delivery, and displayed unprofessional behavior by interrupting me, laughing during the conversation, and ultimately threatening to cancel my order without providing clear explanations or assurances regarding my deposit. When I arrived at the store seeking clarification, the interaction escalated further due to dismissive conduct, lack of eye contact, smirking, and an outright refusal to process payment or provide proper documentation and verification for my refund. Despite my frustration, there was no use of profanity or physical confrontation, and I ultimately apologized for raising my voice; however, the employee’s conduct, coupled with the lack of leadership intervention, left me feeling disrespected, anxious, and deeply dissatisfied. This experience demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability,especially unacceptable given the circumstances, and has completely eroded my confidence in this location’s ability to provide ethical and customer-focused service.

I can see why no body comes here and why theres a low rating. I came here today Wednesday November 5th around 12:45pm to be greeted with the store manager. First issue when i walked in and said i was picking up an item he looked at me like i was crazy and had no idea what i was talking about when i spoke to TWO of his employee the day prior and were 100% aware and told me theres no problem and i can come in any time between the hours of operation i put my penny down for the first month as the website advertises and he was demanding i pay the first month because “ i dont let anyone walk out with a ps5 for a penny” so going against their own policy thats stated online. He then proceeded to associate me with another customer that so happened to have the same address and accused me of not having payments on time when i never even had an account and told me because of this individual i wasn't allowed to walk out with a penny down because they didn't make payments on time as if that had ANYTHING to do with ME. Told me he has no idea what his employee were talking about and that they don't do in store pick ups when online on their site is blatantly states “pick up in your store today” lost a customer and i hope whoever comes here next reads the reviews and thinks twice horrible practice horrible customer service and go against their own policy. Aarons would never act like this

Eddie is so accommodating! I was coming in out of state for surgery, and wanted a powerlift chair last minute. He made it work for me despite asking for a quick delivery and only needing it a few weeks. Very personable and would recommend.
