Rent-A-Center

Just a run of the mill renting place, been renting from here for 7 years for computer products, never had a problem and when I did they took it to get it repaired. Good customer service.

Just paid off an A/C unit. I'm currently renting a game system and will probably rent more things in the future. Both products were new in box. Both function as they should. It's a great option for those that can't afford large outright purchases. My A/C unit died right before the temperature was hitting over a hundred. I didn't have the funds to outright buy a unit and went through RAC to get a new one. The unit was brand new and is a great product. The employees that I've dealt with have been very courteous. I had to make my payment a day or 2 late and it wasn't a big deal.

This place is awful, they scam you anyway they possibly can. I would not suggest using them. Go somewhere else with your business. I moved and needed furniture right away so I went there and got a few things, ended up with a broken sectional (was supposed to be brand new) they were supposed to fix it never did so I tried sending it back to get a sectional that was not broken and they refused to put the money I had spent on the new one. The new was supposed to be half off (they wouldn’t honor it) they had it buried in the back. They brought me the wrong tv and my pay off $438 I was going to make that payment they changed the amount to over $700 then all the sudden it was $1000 I went into the store to make the payment the manager told me NOT to make the payment because I was right and he was going to get a code from his boss to override the extra and I had been a good loyal customer. He then called me a few days later and said I needed to make my payment, I said what happened to you calling your boss (ops he forgot) so tells me again to wait to pay then I get another call with him saying he called his boss and his boss said no, so he tells me he is going to call corporate and go over his bosses head. Needless to say the payment went up yet again now almost 2k. When I was at a $438 pay off. I am debating giving it all back and telling them to shove it

The gentleman that delivered my couch for very efficient and on time. Did a great job and were awesome. The manager of the store did everything he could to help me and was very efficient about his job and very helpful overall experience. I would give it a 10/10

Had to call and make a police report for theft of my property that does not belong to rent-a-center. They trespassed on my property and snuck around my house. All on video by the way. They use threats of legal actions on customers when it is against company policy to make any threats to customers at all!!! Let alone steal the customers property. Let not forget the threats of damaging my property as well after I quit!!! They have roaches and at times bed bugs!!! They lie about it as well. They talk to people with complete disrespect. Completely unprofessional. And very vulgar!!! The district manager is joke as well, they force people into auto pay and say it’s part of the contract, but it’s not!!! They lie to customers on a regular to feed their own personal gain. They need to go back to training and go over compliance standards of the do and don’t which is next to every desk in the office!!!! You want action you got action. See ya in court!
