I signed up online with Rent-A-Center two weeks ago and uploaded every document they requested. I never received a single call or follow-up. The Black Friday “special” turned out to be a complete lie—when I finally called the store, they didn’t even have the product I ordered. The customer service was honestly the worst I’ve ever experienced. The employees had nasty attitudes whenever I asked simple questions, and they repeatedly asked me for the same documents I had already uploaded on day one. No communication, no accountability, and they talk to you like they’re doing you a favor. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. This location desperately needs new management, because this is unacceptable. It’s a shame it be your own people.
Alleged manager named avi or abi called my phone cursed me out hung up then called back and left a message saying I stole something from them I literally have never been to rent a center or used them and I def won’t be in the future to be a manager and talk to people like that is wild don’t know how he is till employed
The manager is very rude. They schedule your delivery date then the day of after waiting all that time they canceled and say no one answered.
Not understanding or compassionate my mom has been in the hospital. She lives in Elgin i called told them i left my card at home threatened to take the the furniture. Spoke to the manger and she just like its business i pay the late fee and all but still no. Like life really does happen to people and the fact that my account is fresh i understand but i am communicating with them and everything and they just so not nice the manger ok but her employees just really dont care and sassy at the mouth
