Rent-A-Center

I wrote a review about the experience I had with Wayne last Sat. I called him on Feb 21st to let him know that the computer I bought for cash to let him know the charger to the computer would not keep a charge. The reaction I got from him was you paid cash for that computer and basically you are on your own with that. So I just said ok thank you. I work customer service and I would have never ever talked to someone like that and tell them basically that’s your problem. I have only had the computer 7 days and I would have thought he would make it right. Im sure they probably have plenty of computer chargers. He was so quick to say you are own your own. I would have done anything to have helped my customer. He was so quick to give me a deal on that computer and now I don’t know whether I got a good computer or not. Personally I don’t care if I bought it right out or not YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HELP ME WAYNE. You are suppose to be the manger of that store and you should have made it right. Instead you were horribly rude to me. That’s ok because I will never refer anyone to come see you. I also was very disappointed to have truly enjoyed my purchase of my computer. Shame on you!!!!!’

I just could not resist leaving a review on Wayne Gatling. He is the BOMB! I went in Rent a Center on Sat Feb 14 looking for a laptop and somethings didn’t work out like I wanted it to. The only way I was going to get the laptop was pay the cash price. Well I couldn’t afford to pay for it out right. I didn’t have quite that amount. Wayne, did everything he could for me to walk out with that computer. I’m telling you he was such a joy to work with. So if you ever need to go to Rent A Center please go see Wayne Gatling. He will take good care of you and he will send you out the door with what you need.

The Brunswick Rent-A-Center is the best. It was an easy application. Prices were a little high but I would definitely go with them again if I needed to. They're the most courteous, kind and cooperative people I've ever met which is saying a lot. You don't see that much nowadays. They made everything so simple and easy and they were always saying yes ma'am. No ma'am or call me Miss Deborah and going out of their way to help with anything that I needed. They were so sweet I will never forget them 💕

I’ve had great experiences with Rent-A-Center in the past while living in Virginia, which made me confident in applying online again. On June 20, 2025, I was approved and submitted a $25 down payment—but since then, I haven’t received any communication or updates. It’s disappointing to feel overlooked by a company I’ve trusted before. For contrast, I applied with a competitor, Aaron’s, and was approved and had the product delivered the same day. That level of service really highlighted the lack of responsiveness and I hope Rent-A-Center at the Brunswick, GA location improves its communication and customer care moving forward.

This is a great place!!! Great people who are very helpful and they also can be so funny at times. The staff Wayne, Ashley, Tasha and Norman are all so sweet. I tell everyone about Rent A Center and the great people there!!! If they don't have something you need they will track it down for you. I have been a customer twith them for over 30 years and I do have to say the team they have up there is the best team I've ever seen. Great work you all!!! Thank you for everything ❤️.
