I have been a customer to this company for a few months. Due to the service, I received before, I was not going to continue. Decided to change my mind and become a customer due to my moving experience, It was a struggle I missed a payment and was questioned “why?” Very rudely, on the phone for more than 10 minutes. Being questioned, I left that alone but today I wanted to get a deal on a sound bar the same Lady I have had an issue with I decided to not put her name. When it came to the deal, she did not deeply explain about the service fee. I had to call another Rent-A-Center for them to explain it to me. I have no issue paying, but she has questioned me, ( and it seems like every time she’s always questioning me ) (I do not talk to her rude and it’s always like this. I don’t understand that type of customer service) but then won’t explain things to me it just makes the experience terrible I moved into a beautiful place and my whole point of becoming a customer is to rent out the items to see if I like them so I am deciding to go to target and get the basically same sound bar for $150, it’s not about right or wrong. It’s just always something with a certain employee here and she has made my move-in experience with this company Uneasy. when my one payment was late, I explained, but they still came to my home and put a letter on my door, explaining that the couches do not belong to me as I do understand, and was explained when she talked to me on the phone. Since then, my payments have been 2 to 3 days early this is why I personally don’t do customer service. I know the difference between fake customer service and genuine customer service every time I get off the phone I am not happy, (This is why I don’t do a occupation that requires customer service cause I know the requirements to making customers happy and I can’t provide that so that’s why I’m not in that type of business ) but I will enjoy the sound bar tonight that I am buying at target but I do enjoy my couches so I will just pay on the items I already have but will not get anything new with Rent-A-Center at least with the Rialto location. I’m not saying, I’m right, but when you are spending your money and overly paying for something, the service should be a certain way and employees that work at this company should never question”WHY” IT SHOULD BE “WHEN” could you pay not why. and I’m actually getting a better deal with going to target and just buying it so actually it’s a win for me. I will take further review to social media platforms.
Very unprofessional I’ve paid the deposit for my couch about two weeks ago. Here we are today & I still have yet to receive my couch . Then on top of that no one calls to give you an update on what’s going on you have to call them. They clearly don’t check their emails was asked to send in proof of address the sales person didn’t even know I had sent the required documents until I called the next day.
Horrible experience manager is horrible. Spent over 2 hours looking for furniture only for the very next day for her to call and say out of stock after making a deposit. Very nonchalant. Asked over and c over if we just wanted to cancel Voiceover service isn’t for everybody. Clearly not for her!!! Horrible experience we didn’t have to go here but decided to. Never again.
They are the most helpful and very costumer service is excellent & they get everything set up and ready for you ! So thankful to have great service with Alex & Lilli
I had the worst experience, the only reason they got a one star is because I can’t leave a review if I don’t click on a star. The customer service me and my husband received was horrible. This “Manager” Alex is horrible, just cause she’s a manager she thinks she can treat people poorly! My husband was the first point of contact but when I jumped in on the call to get better understanding, my husband told her my wife is having some questions…and after some back and forth, and I get off the line cause she pissed me off. She tells my husband “I don’t know who that was, but I am just telling you how we do business here”. Very Rude!!! We are looking to rent for short term, due to us waiting for our new apartment that’s under construction to be completed to be able to move. In the meantime we are also renting a home on month to month and it doesn’t come with appliances. We go to rent a center to be able to get what we need and “Alex” wasn’t very nice. She’s asking a million questions and I can’t even ask simple questions to understand because she doesn’t have the time or patience. On top of that she said she needs payment and deposit but we will not receive the appliances until 2-3 weeks out so by that time the next payment is due. When I ask how we are paying before hand and not have the appliances and she said there’s other people ahead of us that are in front of us, so how do we expect to get the stuff first.. on top of that she had the nerve to say that because we are not renting to own, we are only month to month it doesn’t work that way. When I ask to speak to the manager she said I am the manager.. I am so irritated and frustrated and upset with this treatment.. then when we ask for us to pick up ourselves and she said even then after the long 30 minutes she had us on the phone to verify and take all the information and call all the references.. she then proceeded with saying all the stuff are in three different locations far away from each other and it’s not ready to pick up the next day.. and doesn’t know when. Horrible!!!!! Very Disappointing!! At the end of all that and getting treated poorly… We ended up canceling!
