Rent A Center always received a low review but my experience with the office at Oceanside was exceptional. Amazing customer service! The manager Torrance Golden and his staff were very accommodating who understand the need of a consumer. When my refrigerator died right before an important occasion a day before Christmas, I needed a rental fridge/freezer quickly. Rent A Center provided a rental unit the same day. Mr. Golden made it possible to deliver it to the house although that day his delivery schedule was fully booked. Their delivery guys were great. I received great customer service throughout the entire time I had the rental unit. The rental fridge was clean when delivered and worked great. I would highly recommend Oceanside Rent A Center.

Highly deceitful practices from the very beginning. Incredibly high interest rates. Price switching from “floor” to “contract” to “delivery”. They never honored coupons they advertised. For example, “get your first week for $10”. I did several transactions with them at a very high (astronomical!!) cost and they never Once honored their agreements or word. They are operating from the Dark and their deceitful ways must stop! I have sent two items back that were extremely over priced. They are earning vast amounts of money off of the backs of struggling people who believe they do not have any other options. Check Offer Up! Check AmVets Thrift Store on Mission Ave in Oceanside. I got an amazing, amazing sectional sofa for $80 from AmVets!! My payment on a sectional sofa through RAC?? About $159 every two weeks!! And, it sucked!! Super hard, and uncomfortable. My $80 total AmVets Sofa is so beautiful, fluffy, white, with a HUGE ottoman, and just ginormous too!! DO NOT do business with RAC unless they clean up their deceitful business practices (doubt they could unless completely New✨Ownership occurred). There are a lot of Other furniture stores in Oceanside and Vista that have way better choices in furniture and do not operate with Dark practices. Choose The Light!!🌟💙🤗

This review is for the delivery driver that came today. First of all I have two broken feet so I can barely walk. She said she couldn’t find the place so I went outside. I opened the gate for her, but she just parked on the street far away then when I hobbled my way down to her, she stated she didn’t even have a pen so I can sign the contract so I had to go all the way up the street my condo just to get a. Pen ! Then I’m on an important work call and I’m trying to sign the document and she’s talking to me while I’m on the phone asking me how much my rent is I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism in my entire life and then I had to walk the PlayStation five back up the street and up my stairs with my broken feet

I started off online and then decided to go in to make sure I understood what I was seeing online. The clerk was friendly and nice however refused to acknowledge the prices online or coupons. I was in a hard spot with little choices so I went with the price she offered but I know it was significantly higher than if I had just gone through with the rental online. I also rented a dryer however it did not come with anything required to set it up such as a gas hose, fittings, or ducting. I then had to go buy a $50 kit for something that I am returning and 6 weeks and will have no use for after. Very disappointed and would not recommend this location to others.

At first very helpful. Fast forward 9 month's. Not so helpful. Called to pay off my account and was even the run around. Telling me I had to go in person to pay off the account. After explaining I was no longer in CA, they wanted me to mail a money order in. Asked for a manager and was even the run around. The Ast. Manager even told me to be quite. Poor customer service. Thought they would be happy I was paying off my account during to COVID thing. Someone from higher HQ needs to replace those managers.
