Rent-A-Center

So for starters!! I’ve never lived in Prescott myself!! And second I’ve never rented from this place ever either nor am I a customer or responsible party… however when workers of this company reach out in such a manner as to demand and tell me what there going to do and send cops to my door over someone else’s issue is very unpleasant and the fact that the respect was not there even though I would have been happy to help, I do not help those whom seem above others and can tell them what there going to do! Also it’s illegal to reach out and tell me they was given my address without my permission and these people this it’s fair to also reach out over Facebook I would not have this person working for me if this is how they handle situations! I will be letting the company of the franchise know as well as the service and solution centers!! It clear this company and employee specifically does not care and has a lack of respect and the actual nature of the legal laws!! Heres some pictures for reference! So amazing I came from California into the store and it is so clean so friendly and the displays were phenomenal. I definitely will look for a Rent-A-Center near me and if I don’t, I’ll come back and maybe buy something.

My fiancé and I walked in just to browse for a sofa. The manager talked to us and was not pushy. We decided to wait and came back later that day. The manager didnt just work up with but also gave me a veterans discount without me even bringing it up. After everything was said and done it was a very pleasant experience and we walked away with what my fiancé wanted.

Love Ryan and Bryce. They are the best. Very friendly and professional. I have furnished almost every room in my house at RAC and will keep coming back for the great customer service.

For starters I was called as a previous renter in good standing to come and see about a washer and dryer . When I got there they did not even have the set they told me about , they then tried to tell me that they could get me a set it would just be $6 more week no big deal , at which point I explained to the young man that it's six dollars a week that is a $700 difference that is a big deal so a bait and switch right out the gates . When we got that issue fixed and they agreed to do the set and at this point told me they were going to be able to do it actually for a couple dollars less a week because of the previous day , I was very grateful for this only to find out they added a few weeks so it was no savings at all . When they came and did the delivery I asked them to set my old set on the back porch and I would be doing some work in my garage . they came to let me know they were done and ask could I sign this paper showing they set it up . they did not give me my rental agreement nothing about when my payments are due how much I owe nothing . Then I found the dryer was not even leveled when I did the first load . my old set is sitting blocking my back door and my kitchen in the middle of the floor , it's to heavy for me to move it . At that point I should have told them to take back this set and just been done with it and I still might . I have purchased multiple items and have always been pleased with their service . Sadly I have to say this time I am beyond disappointed and honestly don't know that I want anything to do with this still deciding this is all taking place yesterday I will let you know but I decide but I would not at this point recommend anybody go to Rent-A-Center which is sad cuz I used to really like this store . FOLLOW UP : I will Never recommend anybody go to the Prescott Valley rent a center . When the manager called today in response to my messages I had left the only thing he said is when can we schedule a pick up . Never asked why I was unhappy what had gone wrong , didn't ask if they could do something to make anything better , could have carried less about me as a customer , I asked her have his manager call me . That call was more shocking than the last he also was not interested in why I was unhappy with the service , I got one sentence out stating that his new staff was unprofessional . At this point he cut me off and he told me in no uncertain terms they didn't want me as a customer because they had gone out of their way to get me what I came in asking for ; excuse me all I did wasfavorite an item on their web page in an add they sent me for being a repeat customer , they called me repeatedly to get me to go in and see the set I liked on their page . Any time I tried to say anything to set him straight he told me it was his turn to talk and to not cut in . Ending the call by informing me he was canceling my contract ( the contract that was never filled out or signed ??? ) when could they come get their stuff . I have gone threw this store many times over the years and have always been very happy with their service . I'm in shock at their behavior from the store clerk who tried to jack up the price to delivery drivers who half assed their job , now the store management . I can't remember the a time in my life that I was treated so disrespectfully . I explained I'm working out of town and won't be back till hopefully tomorrow but I'm wasnt sure ,. He told me to call so they can get it picked up . I may just stay down and finish this job before going back to deal with them , the idea of having to put up with any more disrespect from the staff there has me dreading having them in my home again . I should not be made to feel like I don't want to go home over a rented washer and dryer but for now that's where I stand . It makes me sad that this is what customer service looks like in 2025 . And makes me mad that they can make me feel like I don't want to even go home to deal with them . Thank you to any one who took the time to read this . Best wishes if you are looking to rent to own .
