The manager is rude and disrespectful i asked him one question he got mad yall really need better managers and customer service

I really wish I could leave no stars because Melvin was very unprofessional and rude today to me. Cussing customers is never ok! Do better and try not to lie to your customers. The box of the game system I was trying to purchase was open and missing items in it. Thank God I returned the items. Hopefully I get my money back.

Extremely Disappointed with Management — Poor Experience in Hueytown Location This is a lengthy review but will be helpful in knowing what you will get before entering. My wife and I went into Buddy’s Home Furnishings in Hueytown on September 1st looking for two 65” TVs for our church tailgate originally scheduled for 9/13. The manager and staff were very friendly on our first visit and assured us it wouldn’t be a problem. A few days later, I stopped by again and was told one of the references hadn’t answered. I explained that our event date had changed but that I’d follow up once we had a new date. A couple of weeks later, the event was rescheduled for 10/11, and I called to update the manager, letting him know I only needed one 75” TV instead. Again, he said no problem, just make sure my references answered. On Monday, 10/6, I stopped by to pay the full amount upfront and arranged to pick the TV up on Friday, 10/9. I even called on Tuesday, 10/7, to confirm, and the manager said everything was fine and that I could pick it up “the earlier the better” on Friday. When I arrived Friday morning around 10:45 AM, the manager saw me walk in and asked what I needed. I said I was there to pick up the TV and without hesitation, he said, “It won’t be ready until after 3 PM.” His tone and attitude were completely different from before, no smile, no friendliness. When I asked why no one called to let me know, he said, “You don’t need it until Saturday anyway, right?” I reminded him that we had agreed I’d pick it up Friday to set it up for our church tailgate the next morning. Out of nowhere, he got defensive and started saying I couldn’t tell him how to run his business and that he doesn’t tell me how to run mine. Even his employee looked confused. Then, shockingly, he accused me of trying to “scam” the store. That was completely out of line and uncalled for. At that point, I was speechless. The only reason I didn’t cancel was because the event was the next day and I had no time to find another option. To be clear, the delivery guy and the other employee were excellent, 5 stars all the way. But the manager’s attitude was a -10. It took everything in me to stay calm and respectful in that situation. I’m not telling anyone not to shop here, but this was my honest experience. I sincerely hope Buddy’s corporate looks into this manager’s behavior, because no paying customer should be treated that way.

Very unprofessional, I have had a stroke back in October and it affected my speech and my whole right side . Man made fun of my speech calling me a drunk, I have not drank since the day of my stroke . I am in a wheelchair,the man pushed my door into me almost knocked me down and threatened to punch me in the jaw. Really professional not to mention a real big man trying to intimidate a crippled man

Will never purchase anything from them again, manager is very rude and tries to intimidate you, also a bully, I was never behind on payments but manager wanted me to pay more then what my original contract said, because as he put it ( the computer says something different )... always keep you paperwork like I did, A one star is to much. Would not recommend family, friends, or enemies to shop at that particular store...
