I had a great experience renting furniture here! Everything arrived on time, in excellent condition, and looked even better than expected. The delivery team was professional and careful with setup, and the customer service was super responsive whenever I had questions. The whole process was easy and stress-free — I’d definitely rent from them again and recommend them to anyone looking for quality furniture and great service.
FRAUDULENT activity from the store manger and I will be contacting corporate. This man not only lied multiple times about policy and pricing, but he actually tried to sign my DocuSign contract for me! For security reasons of course, DocuSign sends a code to the customers phone so they know it's you signing, and without even telling me what was going on, he just told me a code would be sent and asked me for it... Also without me even signing the contract, he continued to ask for my card number then when I said I would come in to pay, stated that he would still need to manually put my card number in!!! Like it's not a whole business with a merchant account and pay terminal!! He then said the terminal was broken!! And to add insult to injury, he tried to get me to sign a contract agreeing to purchase a "in club membership" that showed ON THE CONTRACT AS OPTIONAL, he fought with me saying it wasn't. Why is it on the contract as optional of it isn't optional?!? I'm choosing another company to rent with if this if how Rent a center does business... Which I doubt the company does, just him!! Be careful with your private info at this location!!
Mariam is very mean. I was behind on my payment and expressed I would pay on a date the partial amount and the next date the full amount and she said no, pay it all at one time. Other than that, the experience was ok. I would never buy at this store again, nor will I tell anyone to purchase from here. I will pay it off as soon as possible so that I can not pay anymore to a company where people are rude.
Bad experience with this store manager. I have been a Rent-A-Center customer for over 25 years and have never had a problem or complained. Mr. Derrick, the new store manager at this store, hung up the phone on me because I was questioning him about repairing the set. He told me that he has to send out a technician to look at the item because this is the company's procedure. I said ok, no problem, he said that the technician would call me, but I never received a call from the tech. I called Derrick back to follow up, and he said he would find out why the tech didn't contact me and call me back. I contacted the store last Monday, 4/14/25 and on Wednesday, 4/23/25, the young woman said Derrick is off today, but she will give him the message. When I called back on Thursday, she said she gave him the messages, but he didn't return my call. I called back today, 4/26/25, to find out what happened. he was rude, saying that he is not sending a tech to my house, and he is not ordering another set. I will have to replace my set with something in the store. I told him that I do not want another set, I wanted the set I ordered because it matches the furniture in my house. He refused to send out a tech to look at the item to see if it is repairable, and he said that I am done talking about this set with you, you need to handle this problem with the store manager who ordered it for you, and then he hung up the phone.
They were great I let them know about my pay period 15th -30th so I need that to be done I don’t make late payments and don’t wanna be penalized for it. Other than that they are good experience was great
As a person who works in the area and is always doing DIY projects, I had become a fairly regular browser at this location looking for ideas and inspiration. While doing so I had started a friendship with one of the sales associates. Maybe about two months ago, that associate left the location. I was unable to get their contact information before they left but had informed them that I would have something I would be looking to send to them. With this in mind, I went into Cort three times at this point, to just ask if there was a way to get what I was trying to send to them. Naturally, I know that companies can't hand out personal contact numbers, especially to customers. So when I went initially, I was told they weren't there that day. The second time, the employee that answered is the person who I assumed took my friend's place and he confirmed that they were no longer working there at all. This last instance just happened, where I was asking if there was a way that they could send the package I was looking to give my friend through the contact information they may have on file. What I was met with was a rude response along with a threat of having the police called on me. How me just wanting to give a gift to a friend I might not get a chance to see again warranted anything remotely close to this is beyond me. But this is how I view Cort Furniture.
I walked into CORT Alexandria, and was greeted by the warmest welcome by Corinth. She along with Jessica, was so helpful!! They both helped me find what I was looking for. They also made sure the items I selected were delivered to me at my earliest convenience. Jessica also followed up with me after the purchase to make sure the delivery was smooth. I 100% would recommend visiting them at CORT to a friend. Thank you so much Jessica and Corinth!!
Helpful on day 1. After that no communication or follow up. I ordered a bedroom set that said it was in stock. They brought a set that wasn’t what I ordered, or that matched. They said they placed an order again for the bedroom set. Now 7 weeks later there’s still nothing. No one calls me to follow up on delivery.!I call and no one answers the phone. Services are terrible.
I had been shopping for furniture in a while and had bad experiences every time. CORT exceeded my expectations. Buying online was super easy and so affordable. Their staff is super friendly, and my delivery only took 2 days. Not only do they deliver in a timely manner, but they assemble it too! I loved the experience and will definitely shop at CORT again!!
A long hunt to find the main seating for my new reading nook. What "book escape" is complete without JUST the right chair and proper lighting? Proud to say I found both by way of CORT! Quality, modern products and affordable prices. Our salesman, Rick, certainly exceeded his required sales markers. He wasn't "pushy" as some sales people may be - and that means a ton to me. He even helped us load the new merchandise into our vehicle! An awesome experience. Would absolutely visit (and purchase) again!
