What to Expect at This Store

Visiting a rent-to-own store is straightforward. Here is a general overview of what to bring and how the process typically works. Requirements may vary — contact Aaron's directly to confirm.

What to Bring

  • Valid photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport
  • Proof of income — recent pay stub, bank statement, or benefits letter
  • Proof of residence — utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your address
  • Personal references — typically 3-4 contacts with phone numbers

How It Works

  1. 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more
  2. 2 Apply — no traditional credit check at most stores; approval is based on income and residency
  3. 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
  4. 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance

Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:

Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

Everything seems fine until you actually have to return your furniture. I went with Aaron’s specifically for the convenience of returning items that’s advertised on the site. I was unsure how long I would be in my apartment so this was very appealing to me. Well, I called when ready to return and was sent to someone who then told me they would “print this out and put it on the manager’s desk.” This was my answer for 2 weeks until I finally told the guy my move out date was at the end of that week. Then, all of a sudden he was able to schedule the pick up without delay. Thought this was over with until my card was charged for another payment. Called the store and got transferred to “accounts.” Someone answered “hello”.. no name or introduction on who I was speaking to or where. When I asked why I was charged he simply said “Oh, sorry about that. I’ll let my manager know to refund this and call you back.” Didn’t ask for any additional information and of course, I am still waiting on the call back. Not holding my breath for the refund at this point either. I’m pretty sure the girl at the store may have just transferred me to her cousin’s sister’s uncle (not literally, but I’m really not even sure the guy worked for Aaron’s) to get me off the phone.

Order online and then be told at the local store you have to pay more even though that’s not what the agreement is on the order online. Worst location I’ve ever had to deal with. Beware of bait and switch tactics! Better off saving your money and buying outright for way cheaper.

Got a washer and dryer long as you make your payments on time they don’t really bother you when you go into the store, its different The girl with the glasses is very professional and knowledgeable and knows how to do her job. The other girl walks around talking about customers talks about her personal life. Makes fun of people‘s culture very rude. Makes it uncomfortable for the customer to want to come back and buy more or spend more money If the store is a place business should be treated as such …

Worst customer experience to date. They made sure to let me known I didn’t matter as a customer when they would answer the phone mid conversation as if I wasn’t in front of them being served (red flag #1). I had to cancel an item and instead of being refunded I opted for different furniture, they scheduled a delivery only no to show up as if they pay me to wait on them. Now I have 6 hours of time I can’t get back WASTED and still no furniture!! Save your time and money because they could care less about their customers or the customer service experience. First and last time dealing with Aaron’s!!! And to make matter worse they came this morning and drove off after I unlocked the front door. Talking about PO‼️‼️

Expensive. But, if you have no credit, or a 25% annually credit card then Aaron's is a great place to shop! They deliver & pick up! And they have warranties if your items break or quit working. The staff are very nice!

One of the employees sat at my neighbor's house pounding on the door for over 20 minutes waking us up, I called and asked to speak to the manager and the manager began screaming at me over the phone telling me that I have to go tell my neighbor to call them. I called one of the other locations and they said that is definitely not their business practice. I'm not a customer, nor would I be at a place like this at point.

Rude management, ok customer service from the employees although still rather rude and condescending but nothing compared to the management at this store. There is no willingness to help customers only the i have to because it's my job attitude. Guy was the worst manager I've ever dealt with in customer service. Long story short was told because they closed in an hour that they didn't have time to process my request and they were booked out for 2 weeks so when i mentioned rent a center could probably fit me in their schedule sooner and would probably be less rude and arrogant he told me to go there then they didn't need me to survive. Hmmmm you don't need customers to survive. Went to rent a center down the road was out in 15 min signed with a delivery date the next day. Should've listened to everyone else about this specific location and the employees they let run it.

rude management , missing papers you have to sign new -more than ones ! i don't even know , why is this store still in buiseness ! i was always on time with my payments, and when i got a new job and waited on my first paycheck, they made a big drama ! they got reported to bbb for harassment and to the sheriffsdepartment ! now when i start my normal payments i hope it gets better with them ! and please people , when you have some paid of there, dont let them talk you in to something new ! they dont care about you and want you just on there " leash" ( with old models tv's and computers, way to high priced) ! i found that out !! there are other companies out , they are way more customer friendly than that place on rudisill !! and for sure other places have trained and customerfriendly staff and management ! to bad the lowst here is 1 * , they are not worth 1 * , but it is, what it is !
