What to Expect at This Store
Visiting a rent-to-own store is straightforward. Here is a general overview of what to bring and how the process typically works. Requirements may vary — contact Rent-A-Center directly to confirm.
What to Bring
- Valid photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport
- Proof of income — recent pay stub, bank statement, or benefits letter
- Proof of residence — utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your address
- Personal references — typically 3-4 contacts with phone numbers
How It Works
- 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more
- 2 Apply — no traditional credit check at most stores; approval is based on income and residency
- 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
- 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance
Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:
Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

John gave really good service and made sure I was satisfied with my purchases
I had a great experience until yesterday. I wasn't even behind on my payment, it was due THAT day. Kept calling me, even though I was at work. Let whoever called me know this and that I was driving. That I would pay the account immediately when I could park which would be in about 5-7 minutes. He kept saying oh I can take your card on the phone, okay thats great but I'm driving I can't give it to you unless you want to wait on the phone for a couple minutes for me to give it to you. Then he was like I'll put your name on the list and hung up. I've never been late on a payment. I understand if I was late and not answering. I did pay it 5-7 minutes later.
Chase and Brian were so great! I asked them to move my old couches out for me bc I was recovering from surgery and couldn’t lift anything… without any hesitation they moved them and were so polite and kind the whole time!!! Great jobs guys! Dawn, u have u some good guys!
Been a customer for about 15 years! Azle ,TX location has the absolute best employees! They truly understand life happenings and do their absolute best to help any way they can! Highly recommend!
I believe Brian just called my business to discuss what he believes to be an issue with my employee's account. He wanted to discuss this on MY business phone with MY employee on who's on MY clock, during business hours. When I refused, he threatened to come to my business and address the issue in person and 'make him talk to me'. I informed him that if he did that here on my owned, business property, he would be met with local law enforcement and be escorted out. He would not give me his name. Brian is the name my associate gave the that he contacts. He also said that he's current and has no idea why they're reaching out, sent me pic of his last payment (which is none of my business, anyway), and said that no one has reached out by phone or text to him. And RAC normally doesn't have an issue communicating via text. I then called the 'customer support line' to complain about the harassing phone call to my business, about non business related matters, and Victor would share no information with me. He would not let me contact a regional or area manager, he would not give me his employee ID, he would not help in any way. I told him that I was NOT trying to make his day bad, but I needed more information to pursue this matter. He said (and I'm paraphrasing), 'we don't give out any corporate information to people'. I accused him of protecting the employee in question when I asked how I was supposed to resolve this? He said, 'you need to deal directly with the store and the store manager'. And I asked, 'what if the store manager is the problem and I'm not getting a satisfactory resolution'? His response was, "I don't know what to tell you". So here I am....
