Rent-A-Center

Stopped in with no intentions of really getting anything even though i’m in need of new furniture. I have rented multiple items from RAC (Johnstown, PA) in my previous years and had great experiences everytime, so I figured i keep my options open. RAC Chambersburg, PA is an absolute dump. The first thing that threw me off is not one sales person was on the floor for even a greet. Me and my husband casually walked the whole show room floor before someone asked if we needed any help. I don’t think there was one piece of furniture that didn’t look like it came straight from someone’s house and placed. back on the show floor. Stains, crumbs, scratches, worn in cushions and pillows. None of the furniture was “Hey buy me” condition. I refused to sit on any of it to even try it out. We didn’t take much notice to the tables or washers like i said we were there for furniture. BUT I did venture to one of the refrigerators. Looked very clean on the outside I opened it and didn’t even need a look the smell was horrid. I almost threw up in the store. Finally one gentleman came from the office and said sorrry about the wait by that time we were running out the store. EVERYTHING LOOKED LIKE TRASH, and Bug infested.

Go on down see these guys Robert has been helping me out and he is doing amazing these people take customer service to a new level they didn't have my item in stock so they are going to a another store to get my item this is absolutely amazing of these people to do plus there delivering it this place will deffinetly get my business more and more I look forward to doing more business with them again thank you again shout out to Robert as well thank you for your help today u deserve a raise great work 5 out of 5 stars customer service is excellent no words to explain how much this guy just helped me out

I’ve been having a bit of financial problems, last time I had to get it sent back and “held” they canceled my contract and when I got it back they made a new one charging me extra for the same laptop and making it bi-weekly instead of monthly payments like I had requested, come this week I am a week late and instead of allowing me to pay it when my money comes in, in two days they want to come pick it up and “ hold it” for me again I have a feeling they are gonna do a repeat of last time and if they do, I am done. Bad enough I am risking being kicked out of online college because they do not want to work with me and that most of the customer support at this store are very rude.

This Rentacenter is the best paid off several accounts and got more but ran into a payment issue for 2 weeks and the manager made it work so account was still current. Beth is awesome but when she’s out the manager is definitely the go to person. He truly cares about his customers

Nice furniture& electronics to choose from, but make sure you have plenty of time when you are going to buy something, the paperwork takes a long time. The only thing I didn't like was that they have no public restroom. *EDIT* the paperwork is done online now, so much easier!
