Rent-A-Center

I recently encountered a highly unsettling situation with Rent-A-Center involving unauthorized entry into my garage and the repossession of my washer and dryer, which occurred in the presence of my minor son and frail grandmother. Thankfully, my son and mother were able to contact me right away, allowing me to quickly resolve the issue by paying off the outstanding balance. Nonetheless, I am deeply troubled by the company's seeming disregard for customer rights and property. The police confirmed that the incident constituted breaking and entering due to the representatives' failure to obtain permission to enter my garage. With over 10 years of loyalty and all appliances paid in full,😵‍💫 definitell It is the RAC in Wilmington Ohio so be weary. Unfortunately, I learned the lesson.Do better Wilmington RAC. B&E is illegal and just disrespectful.

Absolutely wonderful experience! They were so helpful! Worked with me and got my son his playstation5 he wanted for Christmas for HALF the price others were advertising! Joe and Ray were so helpful!! Gonna make a little boy very happy for Christmas!

I’m not going to lie, I have never once considered even stepping into a rent a center, however I needed some new living room furniture after life happens. Ray greeted me when I walked in, in all honestly I wanted to just straight purchase furniture without even working with RAC, so I asked if there was anything that was similar to big lots since it’s out of business.. He gave me a few suggestions and then asked me why I wouldn’t try them. You always read these nightmare comments, but I listened to what he had to say. I figured why not see what they have. My budget was limited, so I looked around and found a couch and loveseat that was reasonably priced (I could buy out right) Ray explained in house renting options of 0 interest. I put down the required minimum then I paid some more in top of that so that the account would settle before interest kicked in. Got the call they were on the way, they brought in the furniture, and I ensured the product was in good condition before signing for delivery. All in all Ray is great to work with and I can see if you don’t pay they don’t play so most likely the negative comments are centered around that. I’ll be looking for a few more things in the future so I’ll be back.

Amazing Staff, Very helpful! Ray, Kirby, Clayton and Janelle are all amazing! As a former RAC employee myself I can say they do everything the right way!
