I had a horrible experience with Rent-A-Center in Lancaster. My husband fell and fractured 9 ribs in order to bring him home from the hospital a lift chair was needed. I called the store and was told they had a couple different options. One being $12 and the other being $24. I then went to the store saw the chairs decided on the $12 option one which had a tag stating it was $12 then as I went to check out was told the price was not $12 and was $24. The store would not honor the cost, even though I was told the $12 price by several employees and it was clearly marked on the chair as well. I needed the chair so I agreed to the higher price once again telling the manager Alan I needed it only for a short time. Alan then called a day or two later to say he spoke to his supervisor and was not able to adjust the price but if after two months I could call and see if they could review my account and have it lowered. Again shared I did not need the chair that long and was upset that the company did not honor the price I was told and left it at that. I called a couple weeks later to arrange pick up for the chair as we no longer need it. I was able to schedule pick up with Alan then received a call the next day from him telling him if I don’t wanted to keep the chair he could honor the $12 price. Again, I told him I didn’t need the chair any longer and was upset that the price was only being honored once I scheduled pick up. Then come the day of pick up the store sent one boy who clearly had no experience in moving. While trying to get the chair out with a dolly he hit the walls in my home and knocked my husband‘s framed baseball card collection off the wall. At one point he stated “I don’t know why they thought I could do this by myself”. In order to get the the chair out of the door, I had to physically assist him. I was not given a confirmation or receipt of pickup and was told by the pickup driver he would “have to call and see how to do that”. Overall, I had a horrible experience with this store and Alan the manager who was not able to address any issues or honor his stores clearly marked and stated price. I will not recommend or use them any time in the future.

Walked in with the intentions of renting a living room set. Left immediately with out anything. Store is dirty needing updates and a good paint job all over. Limited in store selection to choose from. Clerk literally didn’t even try to show us anything.
The sales associate I spoke to gave me a wonderful phone call after I had placed my order. He told me I would recieve my items next day which made me very happy. He continued by showing me how I could bundle my financing save money! Great team and love the business already! I’m very happy with the price and services so far!
We have paid several things off in the past. We have never had a bad experience with your company or any of your employees. Two people that always help us and go above and beyond are Jason and Jake up. They are very well trained staff members and are always available to help anytime you guys are open. Would recommend to absolutely anybody who needed something.
