Rent-A-Center

Be very careful when dealing with this store manager the manager will cut corners and never call in service calls while taking your money will happily sell you broken stuff and never fix it and will continuously illegally send letters to all your family members in regards to things that are not their business. Not only is that illegal you are not supposed to disclose any information of any account to anyone except for the individual who signed the agreement but she will straight up laugh and be disrespectful about it. If you need to get furniture or something I would recommend using affirm or any other payment option for any other store you won't have to pay 50% markup for no reason.

Lied about having to have a warranty on the product, when in all actuality, we never had to have the warranty. I guess the sales rep just wanted the extra commission. Then we make our final payment and all of a sudden there is an approximately $36.00 ‘final ownership payment’ required in the state of NC. Then the manager Krystal text messages my husband randomly to call her. Literally says ‘Hi, please call me’ no context then my husband asks who this is and she writes back ‘Krystal’ then my husband said I’m sorry do I know you? And she finally discloses ‘I’m the manager at RAC.’ Does she not know as a business, you must have consent to text a consumer first? Ridiculous. Never will rent from them again. Sharpen up on your management skills there, too, Krystal…

UPDATE: Recently, I made the decision to rent a dryer from Rent-A-Center and I couldn't be happier with my choice! The employee, Crystal, was fantastic - she was helpful, kind, and got me a great deal on a brand new dryer that was delivered to my home the same day. The payments are reasonable and the dryer is top-notch. The delivery driver was also friendly and professional. I will definitely be recommending this Rent-A-Center store to others. A couple of months ago, I reached out to the store with regards to renting a bedroom set. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and although I found an appealing bedroom set online, I ultimately made the decision not to rent it. However, if I ever decide to rent furniture in the future, this store will be at the top of my list.

Cristal was soooo amazing and made us feel so comfortable. I would recommend everyone to just go speak to her. She was kind, informative and super knowledgeable.

Horrible... I needed a refrigerator I rented one. I went to the store asked to make sure thered be no roaches I needed a new not used. Due to the size I needed and urgency I got one from another store by them. I was at work when they delivered it buy the I got home from work I went to bed the next morning I was dealing with hundreds of roaches. My mother bought stuff to help fight them but i knew it was going to need morethan we could do. They gave me another new one with a dead baby roache in the frezzer and sent terminx once. I asked him whem hed be back to treat again he said they only told him The one time. This is not okay. I did not have a problem before renting from them now I do. A time sucking costly health problem. I have small children. I dont need bugs. None.. I didnt have any before renting i shouldnt have them after renting. If i damaged their property they would hold me responsible to pay. I contacted their corporate office the lady on the phone in corporate agreed with me they need to treat my home and leave it how ot was before I had their merchandise. However the District manager informed me since i do not currently rent from them they will not treat my home. Im going to keep fighting until this changes. Crystal is the store manger Darleena is the District the store manager was helpful at the time. Darleena however was not. Corporate will be getting another call.
