BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS. GREAT STAFF, LOW PAYMENTS JUST A GOOD PLACE TOO SHOP!

After reading these reviews whew!!! Obviously no one is fixing the situation in headquarters! Glad i went with my intuition when don called to deliver furniture i got a really bad vibe from his condescending and unprofessional attitude! Glad he canceled my order because after reading these reviews he doesn't deserve my business! Hopefully rent a center headquarters can find a decent and professional store manager in the future. Try Aaron's, furniture fair, Badcock, buddys, or anywhere but here! Beware!!! Glad I didn't get sunk in the crap! Update Nov 10 they left reply to reach out about my experience lol. I did that on Thursday Nov 6 said district manager would reach out in 24-48 hours. I'm still waiting????

Not as good as the jacksonville location, on Henderson Dr. But still a great store

I’m actually confused. I called the store and was told that I was blocked out of the system for failure to pay, which couldn’t be true because I’ve only gotten a desktop from them before and it was returned when I could no longer make payments and because I had paid off so much of it I was given a voucher for about $200 for the next time I would be ready to purchase something from them. Today I accidentally made an order for a desktop and it goes through. So I am confused to why I was told that.

*PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW* New Bern NC location is rude and condescending. We had to order a new debit card and had auto pay on that card. My payment was due literally today and when it didn't go through i was spoken down to and my item was threatened to be repossessed. I wasn’t even late! All i asked for was a few hours for my husband to come home from work so i could get the new card info but instead i was treated like trash. Im not even late! It’s due today! I literally just paid off an item in December, early at that; then got another item. Ive spent thousands here. They’ve never had to call me and I’ve never been late or tried to duck their calls like I understand some people do. After the way i was treated today i will NEVER shop here again. I will shop at Aaron’s across town if i need it that bad or do without first. ** I want to add to make this review fair, i called back 30 minutes later to pay and told them i will never shop with them again and was told he misunderstood my file and he apologized. I replied that if thats how they treat ANY of their customers i wont be associated with any business like that. Ill pay this one as agreed, Its on autopay.. I have paid off one item in December and started a new lease and in all that time including now I've never been late and have actually been early at times. I feel sorry for anyone who ever IS late because if thats the way you’re treating people the day its due, i would be scared to see if for some reason i had actually been late. Im sad that this had to happen and that it’s given me such a bad taste in my mouth afterwards that i can no longer do business here.
