Here it is almost two years after I got everything paid off and after calling and requesting them to remove my number MULTIPLE times, I'm STILL getting calls from them wanting me to buy more, etc. RAC is such a rip off. If you're needing furniture, don't even bother here. By the time you pay off the interest and all the other bull crap fees they throw in, you'll have paid way more than the cheap furniture is worth. My kids bed I bought from them fell apart quite some time ago. 🙄🙄
hi everybody my name is Allan Powers, and I am giving my feedback on the fact of a company that treats their customers rudely. They treat their customers like they are the enemy. They treat their customers to the point of not wanting to further purchase anything from that establishment I am a member at Rent-A-Center of Melbourne, North Carolina The Store Manager by the name of Chad that works there seems to think that it’s OK to harass people on their payment now from what I have read, this company has had a lawsuit against them due to the fact of harassment on payments the Store Manager chat decided to call me on Friday after I made a payment of another item that I have with them Thursday evening. He called me Friday morning to tell me that I had missed my payment And why didn’t I finish paying the other payment which wasn’t due until Friday now according to him the payment is supposed to be made the day before the actual day or the day of the actual day so my fellow Americans, I’m asking this question OK which the payment is set up on auto pay OK so he wants to sit there and tell me that it’s not set up on auto pay which I called him in a lie Because looked it up online and they’re set the auto pay for the payment that he was calling me on on Friday now the million dollar question is if I have the day before or the day of the payment why are you calling me at 10 o’clock in the morning harassing me to tell me that I missed the payment that isn’t due until the evening by 6 o’clock of that day Then he wanted to get an attitude you could tell by the tone in his voice. He doesn’t have very good people skills. He’s very rude very sarcastic. I’ve already spoken to the district manager and apparently the district manager being involved. OK I am not gonna go back-and-forth and basically do this game of OK give him a week. He messes up Call the next week in the week in the week and the week after that, I’m not doing it. Nope I got better things to do in my life so therefore I am making this comment and statement to the public so they can share my experience or see if they have been through my experience or any fellow people that want to rent from these establishments I would not recommend to go to Rent-A-Center until they change the Store Manager This is Allan Powers signing off
This store has the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. I’ve been working in customer service for well over eight years and I’ve never seen a Company do their customers The way displaced does the new manager. Chad is very unprofessional and the district manager. Joel is also very unprofessional. Rent-A-Center needs to do something about these two people in my honest opinion. Also, their items are really really really over kill on prices. The thing is I never will do business again with this company. People that work for this company You have lost a loyal customer and actually an ex employee
Bike has been delayed twice and the mebane location puts me on hold and hangs up when I ask for an update. They then tell me after the third time of me calling that my original bike i ordered was broken after selling it to me, they suddenly have another one in stock but it needs an intertube but wont deliver till the next day apparently. I offer to pick it up because i am in need of this electric bike desperately but they deny me because "account isnt verified" whatever that means. I ask them to verify and they make excuses as to why it will take a while. Laziness
Avoid this place if can, they will harass you, show up to your house, and call all your contacts even after you've made arrangements to make a payment directly with the manager. I received a call on Friday at 12:13 it rang once, they left no massage and then immediately went to call every person I had listed as a contact. Mind you all these for $30 bucks management must be hurting for money when they go to these extremes to harass their clients. Will be filling a complaint with the BBB and with the other local authorities over this type of harassment. I voiced my concerns with manager Shaniqua D. and rather than apology she went on to defend their harassing practices.
