I called the rentacenter in Leland asking for help. My sectional is a powered recliner couch. One of the workers stated he would send someone. No one ever came. I had to get someone else to come look at it. Luckily, I was getting work done at my house and the worker was able to see what was wrong. The store employees never called back. I’m currently looking for another couch. I’m giving one star because the system won’t let me give a zero.
I've bought several items over the years from this particular RAC. The manager Allen is wonderful. I know I could get something cheaper somewhere else, but when it's an emergency, ie water all over your floor because your old washer broke, Allen has always been there to get me what I needed when I needed it. Truly I can't say enough good things about Allen the manager. I will say that if he leaves that store, I will no longer be a customer.
So JT tried to assume what I want for my bedroom suite and rushing me although he was slow and not competent of doing his job properly I gave him the incorrect model number. Wrong items delivered with NO mattress that I ordered because “he forgot” went to set the bed up and it cannot be setup without a bed frame, but did he bother to tell me that NO! If this would have been my first terrible customer experience with this store I could overlook it, but same store manager same bad experience!
We have been coming to oak island for a family vacation. This year was hard because of cancer. I spoke to JT at the Leland store I explained I needed a recliner comfortable for sleeping. He found the perfect one and had it delivered and picked up for our week. I can't thank him enough .
