Way better than Aaron's, they don't harass you like aarons. Their prices are fair. Unlike aarons, aarons charged me $2100 for a PlayStation 5.
I have been a customer to this location for over 15 years. Always buy my appliances from them. This last experience will be my final. I ordered a gas dryer. I asked to pay in full. Almost $800. Yrs, I know can buy it cheaper elsewhere but that’s how loyal I am to this store. I ordered on Monday. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday between 1p-3p. At 2:30p I called the store. It wasn’t being delivered. I was told “the boss” had the truck. No one called me. Fine. I called back to confirm delivery and was told between 10a-12p the next day. They arrived today at 12:30. I’m glad my time is unimportant to you. Dryer arrives. It’s electric. I ordered gas. They said they couldn’t take it back because all cash sales are final. BUT, you didn’t deliver the right item. Whatever. I kept it. Then I realized I just paid $800 for a used electric dryer. There’s heat marks on the drum along with dings and scratches. They replaced the lint tray though. I have a call in and waiting for the district manager to call me. I will never use your services again. Way to go RAC. If you treat loyal customers like this, I wonder how you treat the average one. You know what’s sad? I NEVER leave bad reviews. I can’t say that anymore. Side note. It’s been over a month and still never received a call from corporate. What a wonderful company you are RAC!!!
Didn't show up within specified time. Had me waiting alllll day for delivery. Then got here and products didn't for in the spaces I had previously sent measurements for then still have not been contacted to remedy the issue.
If I could put no stars I would. What a horrible customer service experience. I rented a recliner for a one month period and they charged me for 2 months after arguing with the very rude girl on the phone she credited me for one month. My contract was from April 3 to May 3. In order to not be charged anything else they said they have to pick up the recliner today being April 29th. So I didnt even have it for a month....... Renters BEWARE !!!!! A VERY SHADY COMPANY. !!!
I have been a customer at RAC for years. We were in need of a new washer & gas dryer. So, against the advice of others, I went to RAC. Due to covid, I decided to call in my order. While on the phone, the rep tried to sell me a new washer with a used gas dryer. I declined the used dryer and stated that I want a NEW set. He told me he found a new gas dryer. Then, when we went to set up delivery, I told him I would need the set delivered that Thursday because my family was going out of town that Friday. He claimed they didn't do deliveries on Thursday convinced me to take a delivery on Friday morning between 10am-Noon. Then, he proceeded to take my payment. Before charging my card, I confirmed that it was a NEW washer + gas dryer and that delivery would be received that friday by noon. He agreed and charged my card. Then when I asked for a receipt, he said he would email it to me. Needless to say I never received the email. Morning of delivery, I called RAC to confirm my time and get a receipt. Lady on phone told me my washer was on the way from Clementon and my dryer was coming from Atlantic City. I said WOW so they'll be here before noon, right? Then she said they would try. The 2 trucks ended up showing up at about 130-2pm. During set up, they didnt have the tools they needed to install the set. So they borrowed my husbands. After about 10mins they said they were done n gave me a receipt. After they left, I inspected the set and while the washer was new, the dryer was clearly used. There was lint in the catch and scratches on the inside of the dryer. N when I turned it on to test it, it made a loud, whistling noise that could be heard thru the entire house. I immediately contacted RAC to complain about the dryer n the woman on phone lied claiming it is new n that she doesn't know why its whistling. She stated she would send someone out to look at it on tuesday the following week. I told her I want the new dryer I was promised. She said ok. That tuesday the guy came out n listened to the noise. He didn't even know how to fix it and didnt have a new dryer with him. After he left my husband called RAC and demanded that they rectify the issue and get us a new dryer. When he asked to speak with a manager a guy on the phone claimed he was busy (honestly he sounded like the manager whom I had talked to in the past whom if I remember correctly his name is Shawn) and stated that gas dryers were difficult to get but that he could order one. My husband asked how long it would take and the rep didn't know. After all the lies and deceipt my husband and I decided it was best they pick the washer & dryer up and give us a refund. The rep pretended to ask the manager (Or maybe asked himself) about a refund then got on phone and stated that we would receive one and it would take 7-10 days to process. Needless to say we do not trust RAC at this point and do jot trust that we will receive our full refund. We are scheduled for pickup for tomorrow afternoon and assume we will be jerked around some more over our money. Shop at this RAC at your own risk! I would have saved myself a lot of trouble had I listened to friends and family who all state that the quality of service has gone down the toilet at this place.I uploaded photos of the socalled new dryer in the photo tab. And I've already contacted the RAC Customer Support# and left a message for the district manager.
