Everyone in this store is rude. They act like you bothering them when you go in to inquire about an item.
The manager there is rude and disrespectful, they try and charge you twice and one week without your authorization which they kept over drafting my account. Do not come to this store only if you want to deal with disrespect!
I'm a valued customer with this store. The employee's are very friendly and helpful in a lot of different ways. Really every time I go into or over the phone I feel heard, and respected. I have brought items and I rent things. I have yet to find anything wrong with the Rental items and/or things I have purchased. I recommend this RAC to everyone.
I scheduled and paid for my rental of the Ashley recliner to be delivered on March 14, 2025. I took the day off. I received a call that day saying there was a problem with the truck and someone would call me to reschedule. I followed up on the 17th she said she would try to fit me in. I explained that it was very important that it be delivered before the March 21st the day of my surgery. I was renting the chair for my surgical recovery. Jessica but me on the schedule for March 19th 10am. I took the morning off of work again. At 10am no one showed up. I called at 10:47am. Dan told me the driver was 5 minutes away. At 11:30am Dan told me he was not sure why the driver wasn’t here. He would contact the driver. 12:30pm came still no delivery. I explained to Dan that I had already paid for the month and this was costing me more money because I missed out on two day of work. Dan said he understood and he would be here shortly. then 1pm rolls around still no delivery. The guy arrived at 1:30pm on March 19th. I was angry because I was supposed report to work at 12pm. Fast forward to Monday April 21. I called the store to find out how pick up works. I only needed the chair for a month. I explained to Dan that I could not afford to go another month. Dan told me I had to schedule the pickup and I was not scheduled to be charged again until April 26th. I asked Dan if he had any availability before then because again I can not afford it another month. Dan scheduled me for pickup April 25th between 3pm - 5pm. The driver arrived on the 25th at 4:30 to retrieve the recliner. I signed the paperwork electronically saying it was picked up in good condition. That night at 1:55am so I guess that would have been the 26th at 1:55am my card was charged for another month of rental. I was confused and angry because the item had been returned and now my account is overdrawn and the bill that was scheduled to be paid on the 26th is in default because Rent a center took the money that was meant for the bill I scheduled to pay. I called Dan he would not come to the phone. Until I told Alex that I would be up there in 2 minutes if he didn’t come to the phone. Dan came to the phone giving me an excuse about how they switched to a new system he would refund me. I asked him if I would be compensated for the fees I incurred he said no he refunded it the same day so the rest was on my bank. I was livid because I returned the merchandise and was still charged. Dan said what do you want me to do. I called corporate and have been waiting for Ryan to give me a call back ever since April 26th. Later on that day of the 26th I received a call from Alex saying my account was past due and did I want to make a payment. I told him that I don’t have the merchandise take me off your call list. He said okay. A few days later I received a text saying my payment was past due. Few days after that I got an email. Then last week Alex called again to say my payment was past due. And still no return call from Ryan. I got my money back on April 28th but still had fees from the overdraft and the for missing my phone payment. This is my first and last time ever using your service! It was the most frustrating unprofessional and disrespectful experience I’ve encountered. I’m still receiving emails, text and phone calls concerning merchandise that I don’t have. Your company is so quick to call customers thieves for missing payments well what do you think this is?? The merchandise was picked up and y’all are still trying to charge my card and costing me money!
