Very unprofessional that they called you on the same day of your delivery to tell you your delivery date is pushed back to a later day !
Employees here told me go out we don’t rent anything - we haven’t even talked yet - no reason to be that rude and racist , what an unfortunately experience!!! You should change the workers or this branch should be closed !
Dear Rent-A-Center Corporate Team, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience 57 Everett ave, Chelsea, MA location. I have encountered a series of troubling events, and I would like to request a resolution. While at the store, I was subjected to harassment by the store manager on multiple occasions. During one of my visits, the manager threatened me when discussing an incident that occurred earlier. The manager's behavior was highly unprofessional, as they displayed a complete disregard for customer service, offering the worst possible attitude. Additionally, the delivery movers failed to bring the PS5 that was supposed to be delivered. I was told I would need to drive to the store, 45 minutes away from my home, to pick it up myself if I wanted it. This was incredibly inconvenient and unprofessional. The next issue occurred when the delivery movers arrived with a couch. Not only did they show zero care in handling the couch, but they also caused damage to it during the delivery. They further damaged the wall in the hallway of my apartment complex. The manager assured me the wall would be fixed as soon as possible, and we agreed that my payments would be put on hold until the issue was resolved. However, I never received any communication from the manager regarding the repair, and when I followed up, I was told that the wall would not be fixed until I made my payment. This was contrary to what I had been told initially. As a result of the delay in scheduling the repair, my condo's maintenance team had to take care of the damage, costing me out-of-pocket expenses. Furthermore, I was fined by the HOA due to the unaddressed damage. The manager of rent a center also gave out my PERSONAL INFORMATION to the landlord when called about the hole in the wall. On top of all this, the manager had promised a discount for the damaged couch, but this was never applied. I am extremely disappointed with the way I’ve been treated and continue to be harassed. I am requesting a resolution to these issues, including compensation for the damages I incurred and assurance that my concerns will be properly addressed by Rent-A-Center corporate. Please let me know how this matter will be resolved. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Definitely wouldn’t rent from here. The people who work here are always on edge, angry and very confrontational. If I have any recommendations I’d say go to Aaron’s in Lynn. Much more professional & do their job well. Spoke to assistant manager and she got irate about being 10 days past due. Told them to come get their merchandise rather than continue making payments on it and have to deal with the low level quality employees I have been dealing with. No thanks
Javier and Kevin is outstanding at what they do. Their customer service and willingness to help is what keeps me coming back, and also shot out to the manager, best rent a center manager I’ve have ever known. I highly recommend this Chelsea location!
