This is a formal warning to anyone considering doing business at this location. The store manager, John, is not only grossly unprofessional, but his behavior toward my elderly father was abusive, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable by any corporate or legal standard. John spoke to my father with blatant disrespect, lacking basic decency or customer service etiquette. When I attempted to step in and respectfully gain clarity to resolve the issue, he hung up on me mid-sentence — an intentional act of hostility and evasion. I called back immediately, giving him the benefit of the doubt, but was instead met with continued aggression, sarcasm, and unprovoked rudeness. His demeanor was not only inappropriate it was intimidating and borderline harassing. Let this serve as written documentation that this manager’s behavior warrants formal investigation. Should this mistreatment continue or remain unresolved, I will not hesitate to escalate this matter to corporate, the Better Business Bureau, and if necessary, pursue legal action for elder mistreatment and emotional distress. My father deserves better ALL customers do. John is a liability to your brand, and his continued employment reflects poorly on the company as a whole. This is not just bad customer service, it’s a breach of ethical standards and human decency. You’ve been warned. Proceed at your own risk.
I'm very disappointed in the unprofessionalism this establishment has shown. I needed a washing machine, mine broke down. This is budget friendly. We set up a date for delivery, there was a No Show so I call them because of course they didn't have the professional decency to call me and reschedule. I'm going to assume people are treated poorly because it's renting !
I can’t say enough about the care of the customer service. My mom needed to rent and then return (unneeded) a chair after a major surgery and they accommodated every step of the way. John was exceptionally helpful. Highly recommend.
We were looking around, and a sweaty guy unloading a truck asked if we needed help and pointed us in the right direction. (I understand he was busy and couldn’t help us at the moment.) He said if we still needed help, ask Angela to show us the online options. We proceeded to ask Angela, and she told us, “You can pull it up. You got a phone.” We won’t be back.
I have had two experiences with this place. Neither have been favorable. My mother bought a lift recliner she paid out on contract. When it broke, she was given excuses about certain parts not being under warranty. The final result was the warranty time had passed and the chair she bought brand new and paid double its worth, was garbage shortly after pay off. I bought a washing machine from them in March. I paid cash. Because I didn’t use a contract and pay double for it, now one year later, it’s broke, and they have no warranty or responsibility. I will never buy from here again nor recommend them. I’ll order my appliances from Home Depot and wait 2 weeks. At least they don’t sell garbage that breaks after 1 year.
