How It Works
- 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more

- 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
- 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance
Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:
Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

After a couple years of being customers in Columbia City you closed the store. Didn't warn anyone or transfer us to another Aaron's. You sold us to Rent A Center AKA bedbug and meth repo land. We returned everything, explained the situation to the manager at your coldwater road store and he took great care of us. You fired him. That store closed and you transferred us to the s. Anthony location, 30 min from our home. That's twice. Now, after over a decade of making our payments on the 5th every single month you have started attaching late fees and leaving threatening emails, voicemails and text messages several times a day. When we call the store they tell us its Corporate harassing us, not the local store.....and they always wave the late fees. Corporate deserves less than 1 star. They have ignored my emails for 3 months. We have 3 payments left and will never return. After over a decade as loyal customers corporate treats us like we're pests. Do not recommend and never will. I'll be leaving this review everywhere I can too. Even though they won't care, maybe it will help someone avoid their unwarranted harassment....
OK, I get an email about a deal and I don’t see what I’m looking for online. So I’m going to the store to see if they have what I’m looking for and they still don’t have it. So I go with another option and I order it online. Now before I ordered it online, I had three people trying to convince me that I would get the product faster if I ordered it in store. But in store, I would not get the deal. I would have to come out of pocket more money.. I call my fiancé. My fiancé agrees that we should just order everything online. Mind you I had already spoken to someone earlier in the day about the situation Of me not able to find the product I was looking for. Fast forward to me being in the store, notifying them that I’m going to order everything online, While walking out online manager state again, it could take 10 business days to get your Order. What they don’t know is that I already know that online special kind of messed it up for them and they’d rather for customers to purchase in store instead of online.I let them know that That was OK because it’s not an emergency. 15 minutes after I leave I get a call from a supervisor stating that they needed more information from me. She asked for the first five digits of my Social Security number and so forth, which is what is Protocol. She stated that because I have two residents and I have an account in Laport that they have to merge them. I told her I did not understand why you have to merge them when I still live in Laport county as well. The furniture is still in Laport I still deal with The Aaronatvthat store. She tells me that that is their protocol and it’s also in all of their policy. She stated that she would have to call and verify and she wouldn’t be able to call me back until Monday and nothing can go forward with my application until she talk to her supervisor. She stated that she would call the errand in Laport town right away. I gave her a few minutes and I called her back to see what they were going to do due to the fact that I had other options to purchase furniture from And didn’t want to prolong the Process more than I had to. She say that the store manager in Laport county have to check to make sure I still live there and he will get back to her. After that, I called the Laport Aarons spoke to the store manager that I speak to all the time named Christopher And he tells me something completely different. He tells me that he stated that I am a good paying customer. He has already spoken to my landlord and verified that I am still in fact a resident in The home located in Laport county. He has also stated that I did not have to merge my account due to the fact I am still a resident at that address. At this point, I feel that they were just upset that I didn’t want to purchase in store and spend extra money That I didn’t have to spend. Even if it is policy the supervisor could’ve done her due diligence her own without getting me involved and she would’ve found out that I’m a good pain customer. I’ve been with Aaron for a little bit now and I’m still a resident I just have two homes. Due to the shading of the situation and how I feel, they tried to play me. I canceled my order.. At the end of the day you ran my name when I was in the store and you could’ve addressed me then you didn’t have to wait. I feel like that was very shady and unnecessary and it cost this Aaron another customer. I really should’ve looked at the reviews before I even walked in the store because I would’ve never even attempted to do business with them.
Got a pre owned washer for $300 definitely will use them again! Also they don’t hound you like rent a center if you are a day late on payments

I highly recommend seeking out Dave for an exceptional shopping experience.
Problems online. Store owner wouldn't honor anything. I've been a customer for years. Truly sickened by the customer service I've received and will be spreading the word!
