I’ll be honest — Rent-A-Center doesn’t always have the best reputation. But working with Wai at Rent-A-Center (Rent Tent Hui) completely changed my perspective. If you go in with a plan to purchase in cash and work directly with her, you are going to be taken care of. Wai is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely looks out for her customers. She helped me secure the absolute best price on a beautiful Ashley Furniture couch — and the deal was better than I expected. On top of that, she went above and beyond by including complimentary pillows with my purchase. That kind of customer service is rare these days. She understands product quality, pricing, and how to make a deal that feels fair and honest. No pressure. No gimmicks. Just real value and great service. If you’re looking for furniture and want someone who truly has your back, ask for Wai. Pay cash, work with her directly, and you’ll walk away happy.

This place is a scam! You will overpay for crappy furniture. It’s impossible to get ahold of someone for help or customer service. They convinced me to rent instead of buy upfront and then hide the actual terms and payment process. Absolutely terrible experience. It’s not the employees fault, it’s the shitty business model thats money hungry and doesn’t value their customers. Just go Costco instead.

They’re amazing. They came delivered my items, set it up and cleaned all their rubbish. Very respectful young gentle men.

There’s good and bad at rent a center Lihue. manager Rae is great when she’s there which i never see her like before. Hats off to Tasha for her hard work and helpfulness she definitely needs to be commended. Vai and Kaimi are also two that are hard working and great with customer service. There’s another thats the lead for Delivery named BJ he is not a good candidate for a lead, i observed him when he and kaimi delivered to us and he is 100% lazy he never helped it was kaimi and my husband that did it all and that was very upsetting. I dont feel he is great at his job, he needs to be retrained, i never want him helping us again!! Then theres the newest of the delivery guys named Henry, another LAZY one who Ive observed while in the store that will not ever help out on the counter, thats quite alarming to see as i know from being a long time customer no one is excluded from helping on the counter. It just makes me see that the individuals being hired arent good candidates at all. My one star stays till I see changes. Due to this I will say once i pay off my items i will not be returning because the store and certain employees have issues and it needs to be addressed. Step it up because it doesn’t look good for that location’s reputation.

I would give less than one star if I could. I put my down payment for my bedroom set over a month ago and had a set delivery date for today. They had me stay at home and wait for the delivery. I called at 11 am after not receiving any information on delivery time and they said I should expect the delivery around 12. 12 came and passed and I called again at 1 pm letting them know that I had to leave for one hour so I would like to be given a heads up when the delivery was on the way. They said the drivers were going on lunch break and should be done in the next hour. I did not hear anything and ended up calling again at 5pm to see what was going on. They said the drivers were stuck north shore and they would call me back. I had to call again before the store closed at 7 to finally have them tell me they will not be delivering the furniture and I can come pick it up tomorrow. What a joke. Zero apologies and complete lack of concern for wasting my entire day. Terrible customer service. I spoke with Danielle and Dale. Dale was the representative that told me she was the only one in the store and she forgot and did not have time to call me and notify me of any delivery information the entire business day.
