We’ve been loyal customers with RAC for over 6 years, and only now, when we faced a hardship, did they show their true colors. We returned our iPad and mailed it back after being told we had to pay full price due to a small crack on the screen, even though we paid for a protection plan thinking it covered accidental damage (it doesn’t). I was the one they always communicated with, but as soon as I called them out on this, they suddenly made me “unauthorized” to speak, even though I was the one handling everything. We also sent a money order to pay off our final balance on a couch and asked them to close our account immediately and mail a paper receipt. Instead, their team started showing up at our home, banging on our doorbell, even when we weren’t home and our kids were alone. This is harassment and completely unacceptable. The manager “Mo” and his staff made what should have been a smooth closure into an aggressive and stressful experience. They clearly target and take advantage of low-income families, then try to intimidate them. After 6 years, this is how they treat us. Never again. I recommend anyone thinking of renting from them to pay full price somewhere else, it’s not worth your peace or your dignity.
The woman who has helped me has been awesome. Super nice, knowledgeable, helpful. She provided a 5 star experience without a doubt. I cannot recall her name at the moment but hope her boss reads this and recognizes her for it.

Do not recommend, there slogan “we’re here to help you” is a complete lie. I would not recommend anyone else coming to rent-a-center as this company does not help there clients.
