What to Expect at This Store

Visiting a rent-to-own store is straightforward. Here is a general overview of what to bring and how the process typically works. Requirements may vary — contact Rent-A-Center directly to confirm.

What to Bring

  • Valid photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport
  • Proof of income — recent pay stub, bank statement, or benefits letter
  • Proof of residence — utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your address
  • Personal references — typically 3-4 contacts with phone numbers

How It Works

  1. 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more
  2. 2 Apply — no traditional credit check at most stores; approval is based on income and residency
  3. 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
  4. 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance

Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:

Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

Would absolutely give ZERO stars if I could. I had issues with this location a few years ago and said I would never go back, and I haven’t. My daughter and son-in-law went and were treated in the same rude, unfriendly manner I was. Then, when they delivered the furniture, the delivery driver never got off the back of the truck to help us move anything inside and no instructions were given for my daughter to be able to put anything together. SN: Buddy’s (went to them after my horrible experience with RAC), brought everything inside AND assembled it for me. Now, y’all have lost not one but three customers due to your very poor customer service. RAC really needs to consider closing this location.

This place is freaking ridiculous!!!! How do you have a store open but dont have drivers or anyone to deliver!!!! I paid the deliver fee and they dont have anyone to bring the furniture in and then you will say its out of your hands. Thats not my problem that you guys are short staff….. if you dont have any workers, close the store down!!!!!Unbelievable!!!!!! I would give it a zero if i could!!!!!!!!

We’ve been dealing with Shelby, and she has been extremely rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful from the very beginning. She constantly changes her story and gives out confusing information. First, she told us no money was taken from the account — then later turned around and said she could issue a refund. How can you issue a refund if you just said no money was taken out? It doesn’t make any sense. It honestly feels like Shelby is just making up excuses not to deliver the furniture. The way this business is run is completely unprofessional and stressful to deal with. If you decide to buy from here, do not deal with Shelby. And if she suddenly tries to act nice now, it’s probably only because she knows people are calling out how unprofessional she really is. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The five stars goes towards the delivery driver you guys have. I watched this man deliver a whole living room set while the house owners watched him move a metal couch and and other items not only up stairs but also picked up and moved into the door without touching the door I stopped and talked to him and asked where his help was he told me he was a one man band but it was no problem and also said that he could have me delivered if need be just come by the store and get approved. The young man maintained a smile on his face even as he was sweating from head to tow he did not bat an eye. I assume he doesnt make more then delivery that has 2 or 3 guys usually he was very informative in there products and I also fixed my washer when I got home just because I gave him details on what's wrong with it and was told how to fix it and it worked fine after 2 techs came to my home and said it was not repairable. As long as that man works there I have no doubt that he is a great fit for the company I will definitely invest my time and money if he is the guy they send out to get the job done. I also asked does he get tired of the work he said only thing he would ever get tired of is if a customer is not satisfied . He had all the right answers to say and also a very nice looking man that I feel could be trusted with whatever task he is put up to. We need people like him in every store definitely. And promise they do not make men like him anymore. Please protect this man's job at all cost and after my contract is up with my current provider rentacenter will definitely be my next stop. Would love to know his name so I can ask for him personally. Keep up the good work young man. You have me and my husband's upmost respect and I have been around a long time. 😁

The women running this store are outstanding employees. I rented furniture from them for several months when I first moved here. They just came to pick them up and I'm going to miss the interaction with the girls.
