What to Expect at This Store
Visiting a rent-to-own store is straightforward. Here is a general overview of what to bring and how the process typically works. Requirements may vary — contact Aaron's directly to confirm.
What to Bring
- Valid photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport
- Proof of income — recent pay stub, bank statement, or benefits letter
- Proof of residence — utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your address
- Personal references — typically 3-4 contacts with phone numbers
How It Works
- 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more
- 2 Apply — no traditional credit check at most stores; approval is based on income and residency
- 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
- 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance
Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:
Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

Worst customer service ever..been dealing with them for years.......But never agian.
The lady on the phone is really rude she did not help me at all didn’t act like she liked talking to people but in that business of work you have to
Well I have been dealing with them for several years.ALWAYS paid off my accounts with them.Always on time with my payments until the last couple of months my payments were late due to me having Covid as well as family emergencies.Well I am 272.00 away from having my last account paid off with them and my payment is 3 days late and since it's almost of off they want to call constantly about it.I will pay it this weekend and next month pay it off and be done with them
When no one could help us find a washer and dryer; because of covid-19 stores were running short all over the U.S.A. and we got a very nice washer and dry for $140.00 a month and on a fixed income that was a dream. Very large washer basket barrel. Can wash every thing; large towels, rugs, drapes and curtains, soaks soiled hard to clean clothes. We live way in the country near the water and they delivered the pair.
I would have given Aaron`s in Thomson, GA 5 stars without thinking. My husband passed away and we had the insurance that would pay all of the products off. So, we are close to the manager at the Thomson, GA store, he submits everything for me to this insurance company. Come to find out, you have to have this insurance active for 90 days, before they will cover you, my husband passed on day 79. So, 11 days, then no one tells me this for a few months, until the person that collects for their account comes to my door wanting a payment. A few, days later that manager calls me to tell me about the insurance coverage issue. How there is no way to help me? I mean, what are they going to do with a used 86' TV. They can't resell it. So, someone at that store just got a new 86' TV for nothing basically. I'm sure that store still got some kind of payment for all three of the items we had with them. I will never buy from them again. If you don't need to, then don't shop at Aaron`s ever. You will find what you are looking for cheaper somewhere else. I have done the research to know. They double and triple mark up their prices, especially on electronics. That 86' TV, when we got it, it was over 300 dollars a month. I looked now, it is 250 a month, but that same 86' tv they are selling for over 3500 dollars. You can get it anywhere else for like 1700 dollars. (Best buy, Walmart, Amazon, etc.) DO YOU RESEARCH BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BUY, SO YOU DONT END UP SPENDING DOUBLE FOR SOMETHING. WHEN YOU CAN GET THAT SOMETHING FROM A BETTER STORE FOR HALF/THREE TIMES LESS WITH WARRANTY. ALSO, SO NO ONE CAN COME AND TAKE IT BACK BECAUSE THEY DECIDE NOT TO HELP YOU.
