The Lady I spoke with was very rude and not helpful at all. I was finalizing the process for my furniture, and when she requested for my phone number I provided our home phone number due to me not having a mobile device at that time. I proceeded to provide her with a mobile number (which was my daughter’s cellphone who also resides in the same location with me that was initially provided for my items.) The Store rep. told me “No, You Can’t Use Someone else Number it Must Be Your Cell Phone Number.” I never told her that it wasn’t my mobile phone number. Because technically it was my mobile phone number but I let my daughter use it for school purposes. The Sales Rep/ Office Rep. repeatedly refused to take the mobile number I provided. She then disconnected the call and denied my application. Also take into account that my DELIVERY DATE AND TIME WAS SET, WE CONFIRMED ALL INFORMATION such as my employer, residences, and Down payment. The delivery driver even called to confirm my address for Delivery. But this ONE REP set my home back due to a mobile phone number after I provided a valid phone number (and bill that I pay) Due to these actions taken place back in 10-23-2023 I no longer wanted to do any business with Aaron’s. I went and purchased 2 HDTV at Full purchase. Now today, I’m shopping around for some Bedroom items and that was the first thought when I gained access to my account; About how inconsiderate, rude and just the lack of empathy and people skills the woman at the Forrest Park Location had. I want to give Aaron’s a two chance but unfortunately it just want be with the Forrest Park Location. Just a completely horrible experience as a young single mother. Very disappointing my washer and dryer was supposed to be delivered yesterday they claim they didn't get my info. I sent it again now today I called oh we going to bring it today they completely lied to me and I don't like liers at all. I'm going up there tomorrow and get my funds back and take my business elsewhere.
I find it very funny how your phone can be blown up when your payment is due the day of. But when you have a scheduled delivery and you have to keep calling to see when it will be delivered. Due to the weather I was very understanding but on the last call I made to the store they stated I was still on for delivery. It’s now 6:25pm and no one called to reschedule which I’m guessing it will be tomorrow but no one called to schedule which will be a inconvenience because I have a whole schedule tomorrow and to arrange for them to deliver will be last minute. I think that very unprofessional and inconsiderate. If I haven’t cleared my son room out I would cancel the order and never do business again with Rent-A-Center. So my son will now have to sleep on the sofa and that’s so unfair. Disappointing a child is by far a disgrace and I don’t appreciate it at all. Not to mention it may have said severe weather but it actually was just a normal rainy day. Understanding on safety not on poor communication or unprofessionalism.
Florence the store manager was AWESOME! Very helpful and her customer service is A1. She’s great at her job, very friendly and very approachable if you have any issues, great that she follows up and goes that extra mile. It was a great experience.
I am reading some of the reviews. They are so funny. I have to say, I had no complaints. No where is perfect. Mrs. Florence, you are the best. Your team, I love them. Even when they get to busy and don't believe my message. The situation always gets handled. This is a rent to own store. They all some what operate the same. So you can get mad because you behind and write a bad review and threaten to go to another rent to own store. But it's best to work it out and pay on your item. If I knew I was gonna be late I called them. So no one would be knocking at my door. When there was a problem with my washer, they sent someone to fix it, ASAP. Like I said, no one's perfect. And I can't find anything negative to say about these guys. I make my last payment next month, and I would like to thank them for their services. 🤗
