I received a call today from a Rent-A-Center store manager regarding a past-due account, and I was very surprised by how unprofessionally the situation was handled. The manager mentioned her personal friendship with my neighbor as part of the conversation, which I felt was completely inappropriate and unrelated to the business matter. In addition, the message included aggressive threats involving felony charges and Florida statutes, rather than a straightforward and respectful attempt to resolve the account. The tone felt more intimidating than helpful, and it did not reflect the level of professionalism I expected from the company. I’m fully willing to communicate and resolve my account, but customers should be treated respectfully and without unnecessary personal references or threats. I hope management reviews this issue and provides better training on professional communication. When my husband called the store to discuss the past-due account and address the unprofessional voicemail left by the manager, the manager was unable to communicate professionally. Instead of discussing the matter respectfully, she continued to make threats about pressing criminal charges. The conversation escalated to the point that she ended the call without resolving anything.

Jeannette is such an amazing help. She helped me find the best furniture for my first home. It was a pleasure doing business with her. & blessed for the new furniture I have. Thank you Jeannette and rent a center.

I went in today as soon as they opened up because my refrigerator broke and my property management group won't replace or fix the fridge. I lost over $300 worth of food. The manager Jeanette at RAC Poinciana was super nice and helpful. She didn't have a fridge available for me today but was able to call another store that had one I was looking for in my budget that will be delivered today. Thank you so much! 🫶

I just want to say a Special Thank You to Jeanette for making me feel like a valued client! She provides Excellent customer care, compassion and empathy, making my concerns- a priority! She made me feel like I was more than just another dollar bill to the company, when I told her my situation and immediately came up with a solution! I definitely appreciate that and I would definitely recommend anyone to this location!!

I've been coming here for years. They are always friendly and welcoming from the time I walk in till I walk out. Luis, Jeanette and Zuli truly have a passion for treating every customer like they are special. What I love about this place is the staff and the understanding they have for situations that come up. Very good people overall. They go out their way to get you want you want.
