I stopped by this Rent-A-Center earlier today and had a really disappointing experience. The staff was openly rude and even told me I wasn’t a “whole customer” because I had rented from a different Rent-A-Center location in the past, not theirs. The way they said it made me feel like they didn’t want my business at all. Their attitude was unprofessional and disrespectful, and the entire interaction felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. I do not recommend coming to this location. If you’re looking for helpful, friendly service, the Rent-A-Center in Plantation is a much better option — they actually treat you like a valued customer.

As a traveling worker I sometimes do not get around to paying bills on time until I arrive back to home base. Today, this location decided to send me a text message after 1 missed call that read verbatim “ why is your account always late ?” Notice the lack of capital letters, the missed greeting, and proper placement of punctuation. I have never in my life received a text from a corporation/LLC like this. I had to LAUGH. Then I called the location and they took zero accountability and had “no idea” who sent the message. At this time I submitted a formal complaint and was provided a ticket number with the expectation of a district manager or higher up to contact me within 48 business hours.
