What to Expect at This Store
Visiting a rent-to-own store is straightforward. Here is a general overview of what to bring and how the process typically works. Requirements may vary — contact Rent-A-Center directly to confirm.
What to Bring
- Valid photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport
- Proof of income — recent pay stub, bank statement, or benefits letter
- Proof of residence — utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your address
- Personal references — typically 3-4 contacts with phone numbers
How It Works
- 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more
- 2 Apply — no traditional credit check at most stores; approval is based on income and residency
- 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
- 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance
Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:
Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

They showed up in the middle of winter with no booties on their feet. They were ready to walk all over my brand new white carpet. I asked if they had anything to cover their feet? They looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I provided them with booties. They continued to leave my door open with my newborn in the house… I have the opportunity to own my own company where I enter multiple customer’s houses everyday and they love/appreciate when I enter and immediately cover my boots up so I’m not making a mess. I’m here to fix the customers mess, not make more of one! It’s all about the little things.
I enjoy doing business with this store. They are eager to please. They are kind and knowledgeable. When in my home they are very respectful.
the replies to these reviews Are meaningless and useless don't bother because it's insulting dealing with this issue over 2 months Instead of replying to this, fix my account. (Update) i still don't really have anything positive to say I feel I was cheated out of my agreement I had people at the front desk telling me i could do things that can get My contact voided the person they had tried to fix my computer Doesn't know how to fix it yet Telling me the computer is completely fried and not trying to even test the ssd and told me they would have my item serviced In waited, 3 weeks to find out they never sent it out its been horrible Experience On top of that they lied about calling me then the district manager still will not call me and they won't remove 2 agreements off my account that shouldn't be there (update) still have these voided contracts trying to charge me for an item idont have I've been a good paying customer for more than 5 years and I'm not worth a call as to why I can't suddenly rent
I was going to order a few things for my daughter's bedroom and got approved. The following day I was harassed with text messages about needing "landlord approvals" and deposits (which were more then half the cost of the item if I were to purchase out right). I own my home. I don't have a "landlord" and don't feel I have to explain that, when purchasing a gaming system and a lamp for my daughter. After reading some of the reviews about this exact location , I understood why they have the reputation that they have. Awful, completely unprofessional and down right rude. Save yourself from a hard time and use another company or location.
Communication has been stale my bedroom set is supposed to be getting delivered today but I have a feeling it will not be getting delivered, no one has text or contacted me about anything. I've done all the paperwork work online and set up the automated pay arrangement, still no confirmation from my local store on anything.
