What to Expect at This Store

Visiting a rent-to-own store is straightforward. Here is a general overview of what to bring and how the process typically works. Requirements may vary — contact Aaron's directly to confirm.

What to Bring

  • Valid photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport
  • Proof of income — recent pay stub, bank statement, or benefits letter
  • Proof of residence — utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your address
  • Personal references — typically 3-4 contacts with phone numbers

How It Works

  1. 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more
  2. 2 Apply — no traditional credit check at most stores; approval is based on income and residency
  3. 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
  4. 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance

Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:

Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

It's been an easy renting experience minus sending my Playstation out for repairs. Where an employee told me my account would be put on a "hold" so I wasn't making payments on an item I wouldn't have for a few weeks. Then management called request a payment. When I called to see why he said I still had to do my payment ( not an issue I don't mind) and was kind of rude when I asked why his employees are telling people something different

I bought a couch from them about 6 months ago...I paid it off 2 weeks before the end of my term where I could avoid rental fees and interest. When I called just before my last payment the couldn't tell me exactly what I'd owe...this seemed very shifty to me. I also realized I could have saved and just bought a better quality couch for the same price... so I decided to not to business with them in the future....After I paid it off, I was constantly getting phone calls and mailers from them. I called months ago and politely asked them to remove me off their mailer list and call list. I do understand that people make mistakes and I may have remained on thier call list... but, today a girl from there called my cell and asked to speak to me..I said "how can I help you..and she kept insisting I identify myself ..I told her it's me how can I help you. She still insisted on me proving I was the person they were calling ..I finally got tired of her wasting my time on a call I asked NOT to receive anymore and told her do you want to talk to me or not..she then hung up on me..her name starts with an S. I then called right back & I asked to speak to her supervisor and he threatened to hang up on me when he refused to hear about my experience with his friend/co-worker.. his name was Nick..if these people behave like unsupervised kids towards me I dont see why I or anyone else should open themselves up to harassing phone calls and ghetto customers service. Update...since then ..I've had yet ANOTHER person call me and "invite me back" I very politely ask for them to not call my number and was hung up on again..GHETTO

My personal experience with Aarons has been a great one. so much I had to personally write my own review for Conroy for his great service in store I didn't feel the pressure other sales reps would make one feel by breathing down your neck while trying to analyze the product and his information on the product was precise. after the sale was done my product was delivered everything was good until I had time to check my product I noticed there were small tares in the tweeters of my LG 1800 watt party system (the product) which was a bummer so I called up Conroy and we went over the details of my issue with the product he was very apologetic and waisted no time at all to fix the problem. that I cant do anything but respect because I understand that its not there fault as product come and go there all the time. so the next step was that they were swapping it for a better condition one and it would be here Monday. Monday came and the delivery man (Gerald ward) had arrived to my house as promised with a swap of the same product in which he told me came straight out the box he went over the product before bringing it into my house and I noticed he was on the phone so I went back into my house and waited a few minutes. when Gerald ward (the delivery man) came up he came up with concerns for my new replacement product that he noticed there were also small tares in the tweeters and he called up is boss and had gone over issue and I know he felt a little bent out of shape because I know they want to do the best they can do to satisfy there costumers. he defiantly showed me excellent professional care and I am thankful for that with all that said and done I was offered a good discount on the product for all the troubles and I am a satisfied costumer. thank you Conroy and Gerald ward for the care and costumer appreciation. I have been a costumer at this store for 5 years now and just based of the experience I well continue to be a customer. thank you Aarons.

Don't mind the haters waiting in the wings. Aaron's has treated me well and I've been with them for 3 years. Excellent staff, they're willing to work with you, if you're not giving them knee jerk responses or trying to dodge payments like most customers who go in there try to do. They will go in, arrange for a payment option and then duck out, so Aaron's has to track them down to get THEIR STUFF back. Short and sweet of it, if you're gonna rent something, make sure you have the money to do so. Aaron's is a rental service and they have their own policies. If you can't follow, don't rent. But overall a great place to go for electronics and furniture. Would go again. 9/10

If I could give them a 0 I would. They don't communicate with each other, you make payment arrangements with one person and the next person decides it is not good enough. Told them to come get the broken junk they gave me and they have called to reschedule pick up twice because they're so late. Be careful and don't rent from these guys. Go elsewhere if you want to be treated like a valued customer
