I have been with Rent-A-Center for years. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Eddie and Nick are amazing. I would refer them to anyone. They have helped me through some bad times and I totally appreciate it. I left them for a long while and came back and it was the same. You guys keep doing a great job. You guys are amazing.
My mother has an account here and I recently overheard a troubling phone call she had with a representative who was extremely rude. She had previously notified the company that she lost her card and couldn’t make a payment until the new one arrived or she could pay in person. She spoke with two representatives who assured her it was fine to pay in person on the 1st, as she was on vacation in another state. A representative named Austin approved the date change, and everything seemed resolved. However, today, after responding to a text from someone named Eddy and explaining her work schedule was conflicting with when they would be closed to be able to come in on the 1st to pay, they were okay with confirming she could come in to pay using tap-to-pay. Another representative called and aggressively pressured her to set up auto-pay and log into the app. She explained that she couldn’t log in due to a pre-existing account issue that no one has resolved. Instead of offering to fix the problem, the representative argued with her and was disrespectful. This inconsistent and unprofessional customer service is unacceptable. The company needs to ensure better communication and professionalism with customers.
Nick and Laisha were both fantastic! They were friendly, professional and went above and beyond to help me get rental furniture after a water leak. I would definitely recommend RAC because of the service and customer support I received.
I was very happy with the sale of 50 percent off and they really were understanding when I was sick, missed some work got behind them when it was getting better I had to buy a new car because mine gave out.
They have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Like the customer service is as if they believe they are better than the people who wonder in here and are looking to get something. The little boy who answers the phone thinks it’s okay to just place someone on hold for 24 minutes without checking in with their customers. The store manger clearly is okay with this kind of behavior because nothing has changed. It’s sad, disrespectful, and honestly emotionally draining that It is impossible to have a relatIonship with this store that we have chosen to do business with. I do not recommend and I suggest you go to a different store you will only regret it simply because the service.
